I was happy for Dale Jr. He wasn't afraid to make a change that he thought was best for him and his family. His Mom Brenda was a pretty lady and stood by her kids not because she had to but because she wanted to as a Mother. I am thankful for that because when Dale and Kelly were having to live with Teresa and Dale because their house had burned they never felt like they belonged. Dale was gone alot and they were on their own alot. I am thankful that Dale Jr always had Kelly because she acted as a Mother hen to him. Dale Jr being the youngest needed that support. As we all know Dale Jr excelled on his own.

1)  Jr. is a great human by any measure.  Awesome!!  2)  Everybody gets "announced" with their name first and "title" second (Kelly... Sister) except one....

DEI is literally a museum. That's whats left. And Jr is 50 yrs old. The dude could be competing for cup championships as an owner right now with Kelly running the business side, if teresa would have just put her damn ego to the side and done whats right. Now, DEI is nothing but a footnote in history. That race team was gone by 2010. What a shame.

I think to this day, Theresa made him leave. They didn't get along, after his dad's death. A lot of things changed, after Dale Sr passed. His dad was so proud of Jr. Back to back Bush Series Championships, for DEI. Then Dale started dominating in his #8 BUD Car that was his grandfather's number, that he honored. As a Jr fan, it hurt a little, but he's always been my driver, no matter who he drove for. I do believe he would've won championships with DEI. But something we'll never know.❤️ 🙏 🏁

The more information I find out about Dale Jr, the journey that he has taken, the more I really like the race driver he was until retirement and now watching him on Dirty Mo Media interviewing race driver's,Crew Chief's and pit crew. As an avid fan of Dale Jr, I understood why he had to leave DEI.  Hendrick Motorsports was the perfect opportunity given the Chevrolet Alliance.  JRM still has that alliance and is a feeder Team for Drivers looking to gain experience for a future ride in The Cup Series.  I was happy when The National Guard sponsored him having Retired from the Iowa Army National Guard.  Now, the #8 Budweiser will be racing in the Cars Tour Late Model Series at Florence in November once again!!!!  We have come full circle.

Dale Sr would be so proud of Jr he may not be at DEI but between Dale Jr and Kelley and Kerry they have kept the Earnhardt family name alive and strong. Teresa knew what she was getting into marring Dale Sr but it took more than just trying to be a pretty wife being Dale Sr wife came with great responsibility and she could not handle it. Know Kelley and Dale Jr they have the drive and willingness to do the job and they have done amazing. Dale Jr is the most popular racer and probably most liked and he's an amazing driver and Dale Sr is looking down with pride and joy.

Dale Sr would be proud of Dale Jr and Kelley for all they have done for the Sport. He was a badass who didn’t back down from anyone and his son followed in his footsteps. I think he would have been shocked and appalled at the way Teresa handled things and what her demands were. It’s disgraceful. But look who came out on top!
