I love how Mark went from setting himself on fire after wrapping a piece of cloth around a rock to essentially building the entire camp while Wade was on an expedition for a turtle shell.

I love how Mark kills every bird he sees yet the birds are just like “okay yeah I trust this guy lets land on him every time he’s still”

mark: building a wall
wade: lost
bob: ＰＡＮ ＯＦ ＦＥＡＴＨＥＲ

Years later and "We tall." still lives in my head rent free

𝙽𝙾𝚃𝙴𝚆𝙾𝚁𝚃𝙷𝚈 𝙼𝙾𝙼𝙴𝙽𝚃𝚂:
1:19 - bob violently spinning

9:22 - log rain

13:50 - wade sets himself on fire

15:28 - wade starts the turtle hunt

16:00 - “mark i think you actually have to take the meat off the fire”

17:50 - pan of feather

21:19 - mark makes “cloth rock”

21:45 - mark decides to light “cloth rock”

21:46 - mark bursts into flames

27:21 - mark gets frustrated with a torch while wade is rambling in the background about turtles and turtle beach

27:49 - wade finds a turtle shell

31:42 - wade returns to camp

This is the kind of dialogue I want in a movie with a plane crash.
“Shit, plane crashes are loud.”

“Plane crashes are loud”

                             - bob 2020

Bob discussing something important

Wade: "Did I just shit myself?"

I love the fact Bob and Mark are doing all the work while Wade is off on a side quest to find one turtle shell.

17:30 This is so human. Fuckin' around, and discovering shit. One dude figures out how to make a bow, another makes a stone wall. They're proud and wish to share their creations with the others. These major breakthroughs are met with the most unenthusiastic responses ever. Then the third dude learns that IF YOU PUT A FEATHER IN A TRAY, YOU GET *A TRAY WITH A FEATHER IN IT*!!!!!1!!!!!!!!!1 Everyone drops everything immediately to gaze upon the discovery. The bow? He forgot he was holding it. The wall? Abandoned. The *TRAY WITH A FEATHER IN IT*!? The center of attention. Everybody loves it, and thus a new era of cultural development is ushered in.

I love how quickly it switches from “I spawned alone” to “Wade is inside me”

wade: literally bouta die
Bob and mark: don’t u bring that death over here

Mark’s face when the bird landed on his character’s hand was priceless.

Anyone here in 2026?

I feel like The Forest is a type of loop in a sense, if you're confused about what I mean in the beginning your child Timmy is taken by a man we don't get many contexts for it. at the end of the forest, you find Timmy in an Iron Maiden and you have the choice to Find a live child sacrifice by crashing a new plane like in the beginning or blowing up the facility and Timmy dies if you pick to save Timmy you crash a plane and take a child from the plane if you think about it you're doing the same thing that happened in the beginning and if it's a loop like I think the parents for that child will come looking for their child find them in the Iron maiden and will be given the same choice you were given. In the beginning, while they were crashing Bob asked if what they were passing by was a mountain and the wing was also taken off by that mountain, at the end of the game the new plane crashed and lost its wing because of the mountain. That's just a theory in my opinion and I don't know if anyone talked about it but I believe that the game is a type of loop that can be ended by selflessness

"Wait, light? Ligh- What am I lighting on fi-AHHHHH" -Mark Edward Fischbach

He has such a way with words

"If you're gonna steal my child, do it without a smile on your face." -Wade, The Forest.

Note to self: first rule about building a shelter, location, location, location.

I love Mark's face as he was amazed by the custom construction feature of the game, and then confused by there being spiders, and then being amazed again after killing it. 🤣🤣🤣

I re downloaded this game because lately my computer can’t run much anymore. Surprisingly I’m still somewhat able to run this game with 4gb ram. I really don’t wanna upgrade my system but I have so many games that I can’t play anymore 😅
