Thank you Mark... your video is easy and clear to understand. For those of us who are not very fluent in English, this is very easy to understand because it is taught slowly.

I watched several top rated and your vid was by far the most user-friendly with important info like how to change aspect ratio. THANKS!!!

You helped me figure out a couple of things I could not find in other YouTube videos. I own a Dazzle video capture. I had to do a bit of Googling to find how to capture the sound. I now can convert my old 8mm tapes to my computer. Thanks!

im having an issue when i play back the recording. there are two of the same audio tracks that are slighty desynced. so if its someone speaking i hear it once then half a second later again. any advice?

Terrific Video - thank you. As an FYI - I ended up buying the USB 2.0 Video Grabber (I have Windows 11). That USB audio/video was less than $20 via Amazon (vs. the $50 for the recommended I-O Data USB ) - they worked without issue (No separate driver download - Windows supported them).

Sorry Sir, if you don’t mind, please, tell us how to adjust the settings if we would like to connect the S-video cable instead of RCA🙈

Wow. Surely there must be an easier way? Got 3/4 of the way through that and ended up with a headache.

I am having problems with a loud static/hum noise with connecting my Sony Handycam TRV-608 to the I-O Data device and then to my computer using OBS. I had no problem with converting my VHS and VHS-C tapes using this method so I don't understand what could be causing the noise now. I also don't hear the noise if I am just playing back my video on the camcorder without hooking it up to the capture device and OBS. Anyone have any ideas what could be causing the noise now?? Thanks

Спасибо за видео! У меня есть видеокамера Sony с miniDV кассетой. Как перенести видеофайлы с в/камеры на компьютер с платой IEEE1394?

If I don't have the camera of if the camcorder's tape player broken?

The link for the RCA cables does not look like the one you use in the video. Am I seeing this incorrectly?

Any idea how to fix audio desync? I find that after about 20 minutes it's noticeably off and at the end of a 2 hour recording there's about a 2 second sync delay.
