Nice vid mate been fishing there for 45 years.Have seen some unbelievable fishing there in times gone past,as with everything it is only a shadow of its former self.Back in the day there was no real road in and had to go down a sandy track and across a boggy swamp. But what good times ,could of caught over a hundred whiting a session if you wanted ,many up to 45 cm.The netters have done a lot of damage ,still nice to get out there and good times to be had.Enjoyed the vid!

We call our friends " Mates " here in Australia. Buddy is septic tank.

Just curious when is a good time to fish Thompsons, before on or after low tide?

Do another video here mate please 🙏

Whereabouts is the main channel in relation to the carpark?

Great vid. You had a good day out with some very nice fish. I plan on going some time, been crabbing their many times but never chased YFW.

Hey man notice you're using dead baits, is there much difference compared to livies with YFW? I've heard they can be picky.

Great video

Mate those flats go forever, and some.

Hey mate, I have recently purchased some surface lures, and wanted to target Thompson's beach, the walk puts me off is it best to go at high tide or is low tide the best?

Hi mate, is it st kilda？
