It never ceases to amaze me how many things you can do if you have a knife, cordage and know a few simple knots.

If you've never seen this man's videos then your at a loss. He and his affiliates are exceptional. Thank you.....

Major Andrew this was an excellent demonstration of what  improvisation can do with a simple piece of cordage 🇺🇸👍

Rope, one of the most underrated piece of gear.

Thank you.  Good ideas.

Hello from Oklahoma! Good Stuff! You must have known my scout master in 1975. Ha!  He made sure all of us had an 8 ft. piece of 550 in our pockets. Thanks for the refresher! Thanks for all You Do! God Bless!

Sir, the blanket bundle carried within a Tier 1 bivy strapped on the back somewhere and not abandoned could have saved the life of a British SAS trooper who died from hypothermia on the Bravo Two Zero mission in frigid winter in northern Iraq.  The 4-pound woolen British blanket is likely not as formidable as the regulation sleeping bag, but is a probably handier mission asset.  The right bivy with at least one Zippo warmer can help preserve toes from frostbite and subsequent amputation.  One blanket per each stick’s Airborne Ranger are comfort multiplied.  TY again, Sir.

The usefulness of a hank of rope 👌

Thank Allan!  I finally got out of that beaver trap after three years!  😅 Love your channel.

I used to hate cutting my cordage in the service because it never seemed to fit the next application. Learned an awesome trick for that amd it is to carry 6' hanks with a loop in the end, easy to connect together for longer reach.

To this day, I carry 3 hanks of paracord, 6-8' in length and I use them constantly.  I prefer paracord over a thicker cordage because I found the strength rivals most thicker cordage and I can carry 3 without it being a royal pain.

The uses are only limited by imagination amd it makes life easier.

Excellent tips for basic utility of hank of cordage Andrew. Love all your tips and tricks, every one of them is useful for anyone going into the woods, at a minimum.

Cool, learned a lot from your teaching, thank yiu

Very happy I was able to hype this video!
Clear, clever, and concise!
Thank you for the video!

Nice! The most useful techniques IMO were the binding (it's the hangman's noose in reverse technique - don't know official name) of the saw to the stick and the lark's head cinch used for binding the blanket - that was slick! The simple loop for carrying a bundle (wood) was also useful. Rangers lead the way!

Hey Andrew!
I've been subbed to your channel for a long time, and I've found myself going  back to your old vids for refresher courses.
I've also taken a few of your vids and put them in my special outdoors library for very quick reference, and this is exactly where this vid is going.
Thank you very much for your knowledge that you share with us.👍👍👍👍

Always love your videos; even if it's something I already knew, it's seeing it in a different way and reiterating it that counts. Too easy!

It’s not Sunday without Ranger survival and field craft I always learn something new and today it was carrying the ax on your belt with the sharpened away from you. Great tip. Thanks Andrew. Stay safe.

Always have something useful to learn from Ranger Survival And Field Craft.
