Lula, the PT candidate for President of the Republic, gave an exclusive interview to RECORD this Sunday (23). The conversation with Mariana Godoy, anchor of Jornal da Record, was recorded in Brasília and broadcast on 'Domingo Espetacular.'

During the interview, the candidate for re-election announced the plan to create the Ministry of Public Security in a possible new term, commented on relations with Donald Trump, including talks on tariff reduction and cooperation against organized crime, and also spoke about the investigations involving his son Lulinha.

In the conversation, Lula also criticized candidates who rely on the internet to reach the Presidency and highlighted his actions to combat femicide and protect women in Brazil. Finally, the candidate highlighted the drop in unemployment and inflation in Brazil, but admitted to suffering from the challenge of high interest rates. Check out the full interview.
