Haerang is a luxury sightseeing sleeper train that has been operating since 2008.

Often described as the Korean version of the "Orient Express," the train features sleeping cabins, an observation car, a dining car, and more.

The name "Haerang" comes from a Korean phrase meaning "together with the sun," reflecting the train's journey through some of Korea's most spectacular scenery and renowned tourist attractions.

There are four types of rooms available: Suite, Deluxe, Family, and Standard.

There are two Haerang train sets: Train Set 1 (23 rooms, 54-passenger capacity) and Train Set 2 (24 rooms, 72-passenger capacity).

Train Set 1 comprises one Suite car, three Deluxe cars, and two Family cars; Train Set 2 comprises two Deluxe cars, two Family cars, and two Standard cars. Both sets feature a restaurant and bar car ("Sunrise") as Car 4 and a lounge car ("Four Seasons") as Car 5.

There are three main itineraries: a 3-day grand tour circling South Korea, a 2-day tour covering the eastern route, and a 2-day tour covering the western route.
