Here's how to farm resources in Windrose, plus a few helpful tips you can use when farming resources.
In the video I show you my Resource Farming Build, a character build that focuses on endurance & stamina with some damage modifiers to increase the damage of your tools when farming wood and ore etc. while mining like an absolute machine that never gets tired!
I go over the stats, the gear and the talent tree and explain why I make the build in this way and how some of the stats work. hopefully you find the video helpful and can take the build and tips so you know how to farm resources in Windrose, efficiently!

Great vídeo. Silver, Gold and Tumbaga sites marked on the map! Also the builds for resource gathering are very useful. And shooting trees with the boat is a lot of fun!

25:26 another thing about ships is, if you have a fast travel beacon you can get in the ship that isn’t the flagship, teleport, fill that ships inventory up, call in your flagship and do the same. Then just fat travel back to home base and call in the other ships with the warf

3:51 to add to this. Anything in the bonfire range won’t respawn. So if you want certain things within don’t destroy it.

Putting smelters in your mine works well since it's refining the ore while you're mining more ore. Charcoal isn't a problem since 10 slots of charcoal in your inventory is enough for 400 ingots. (I make charcoal at my base in batches of 500 to 1000) When you're going mining, you're probably not going there with your inventory full anyway, so the charcoal you're carrying is a bonus and you can just dump it all in a basket for future mining trips. Late game, build the large smelters since they're a lot faster.

Also, you should segment your mine with rows of stone blocks. You can easily jump over them, but drowned, goats, wolves, and pirates can't cross them so can't attack you while you're mining unless they happen to spawn in the same segment you're in. (which doesn't usually happen)

By the way, the goat mine is the worst of the 3 iron mines. The wolf mine is larger and I think the pirate mine is bigger still and none of the ore is on the ceiling.

Fantastic video, great info. When using cannons for tree farming (which I think isn’t actually any faster), I’ve noticed it turns up quite a bit of fiber as well.

Most efficient way to farm wood I've found is to use a greatsword or halberd and just chop down stands of small ficus. The saplings don't require an axe and you break multiple trees with one swing. They also grow in thick stands. I've been able to get like 250 wood in a couple minutes.

One thing though, if you want any seeds and saplings to grow stuff back, don't cheese it. Better keep whacking with your axe since canon shots to gather wood isn't dropping saplings. You get those from the biggest, full grown palm trees and ficus trees.
Once you get enough saplings start growing them near your base and keep harvesting and plant back. It's a good wood source. Cheers

would need a change in stats but the "bonebreaker" might be a better weapon to run with a resource build, the bonebreaker ability is "the more stamina you have the more damage this weapon deals"

@MoshmanGaming have you tried planting bushes and trees for wood and fiber? Since you dont need to chop them down and just collect when fully grown. Im gonna test the return of for making a tree plant😊
