On September 30th, Morning Musume. '26 held a release event for their new single, "Lonely...But not Alone/Yes ka No ka Watashi ka," at Sunshine City Fountain Square in Ikebukuro.

Sakura Oda (27), who will be graduating after the December concert, spoke about her current feelings: "It's been incredibly fun, and I love everything about it—the members, the fans, the staff, the work, the music. Every day I wonder why I decided to leave an environment filled with things I love so much. I wish I could take it back, but ultimately, Morning Musume. has always been about people leaving and people joining, and it's because of that that I was able to become a part of Morning Musume. So when it's my turn to leave, I feel I have to leave in a cool way."

When asked which Morning Musume song best represents the group, the new members who joined as the 18th generation chose: Sugihara Akisa (14) "Teenage Solution," Suzuki Moa (13) "One・Two・Three," Yasuda Miyu (14) "Lonely...But not Alone," and Ishikawa Kana (13) "Teka HAPPY no HAPPY!"

Regarding the absence of "LOVE Machine," Sakurai Rio (20) commented, "It really shows the new generation."
