Nothing matches the british guardsmen, the discipline precision, the immaculate uniforms, to see and hear them perform their marches is truly an amazing treat, one of the features of the uniforms is the cap with that short straight down peak which commands respect

Take pride in yourselves guys. All that hard work. The lack of sleep. The physical hardships. You got through it all.
Now enjoy the rewards. Hold your head high and enjoy every day because I can tell you it goes fast.
Every day is an opportunity to improve yourself and learn something. Seize, grasp and hold it.

As a 74 yr old ex RAF Officer I just love how our pongo mates do ceremonial. Best in the world. God bless you all in your service.

Considering how much time they get to do drill, they should be very proud. The arms drill was good, the slow and quick time was very good too. The young Irish Guards lad could have lifted his knees a tad higher when marking time. Well done Sqaud Drill Instructors, you did a great job 🎉

Five regiments of foot guards, each has several distinguishing identifiers. Forage Cap bands being one of them.

When I was in the army bayonets were never fixed out of formation. We would never walk around with them fixed to a rifle.

Took me a while to figure out the almost generic coaches used by the Armed Force. The Volvo B9R Plaxton Panther. Irrelevant to this story but there is always one person who is interested.

My brother was in the guards,he served 23 years and has never been back to visit his old regiment or joined the british legion. He really experienced the dropping standards over his service and says he joined the wrong regiment.

Sorry I'm a ex Staffordshire Reg guy age 78yrs old, I applaud you guy 100%....

But sadly I would not join any armed forces today not with this "PM Starmar" in charge, he would only think of himself not the Armed Forces sorry......
