I see many people not enjoying this season as much and calling it a filler. It's not that deep, Ufotable expanded the manga, as per Gotouge's alleged regret of making it too short, and I think it's a good decision, since it let us cool down after the previous 3 non-stop action arcs. Yes, it's a bit uneventful, but I feel more hype than ever after having this "peace" destroyed by Muzan's arrival and everything that came after.

I don't understand why alot of people didn't like this season.
I'm glad you liked it

So, when Yoriichi was air dropped into the world, plot armor was installed to keep the demons alive. Now, without his assitance, every single f*cking slayer is in need of it.

Regarding your point about why the Hashiras didn't try to train the regular demon slayers before, it was explained that the reason why they couldn't do that was because the Hashiras and the regular demon slayers were constanly required to be in missions saving civilians. It was only thanks to the fact that Muzan retrieved basically at once all the demons he had (to prepare his army), that there was no need to send the regular demon slayers on missions to save people and thus, they finally had time to give them proper training.

Muzan could have just teleported each hashira one by one using nakima in the infinity castle unleash kokushibo on them and boom it's done but no he has to be the biggest dumbass in the whole world

As someone who wasn’t a fan of the original it’s really relieving to see a version of demon slayer that’s actually allowed to take it’s time in terms of writing, I’m assuming it’s releasing to the author.

Hello everyone it's gonna be a great couple of years for us mahis fans three movie reviews

Modern anime watchers just want to watch action and fighting only 😔

I thought that smoke from Muzan was an aura thing. I forgot about Wisteria and how he was flexing how it didn’t affect him

10:10 That happened because of Nakime's growth... But then again, he could have used some demon birds and rats or something.

11:55 Kagaya's argument may not make sense in context, but it was tailored specifically to unnerve Muzan. Kagaya knows exactly how much of a coward Muzan is and by stating that he angered both the Tiger and the Dragon, two creatures that are in constant combat in East Asian cultures, into uniting against him, Kagaya is tapping into Muzan's deep seated fear of being killed. So much so that after the explosion, Muzan had to remind himself repeatedly to stay calm and assess the situation.

12:10 To be fair, Sanemi and Obenai witnessing the Infinite Dimensional Castle was Anime Only. Hence why they were caught off guard. This tactical f*** up is on UFOTable

Kaguya went out like a chad

I fking love training arcs cause i always hate how characters just get random powerups in the middle of a high stakes fight with no reason. It doesnt have to be long just maybe a bit of foreshadowing on future powers/skills is enough to me.

5:13

Luckily they fixed this mistake in the movie by giyuu talking to tanjirou and saying "This must be the place obanai and Sanaemi were talking about"

I am in love with how you review this series, while i might have an opinion on it that's a bit more positive, i really like how you appreciate all the things DS does well outside of the animation while still criticizing the parts of it that you think are dumb, cuz i do believe DS is underrated in terms of writing but at the same time it has stupid stuff in places.

I don't understand why people think Muzan is thick as a brick, are critics even watching the same show?. His actions make sense when you understand his goal in life is to gain immunity to sun. Like, When have we ever seen Muzan lamenting the loss of one of his demons? I don't recall him reacting with anything other than contempt for the demon that died. In fact, before the Mugen Train Arc, after the death of Rui, Muzan gathered the rest of the lower moons and straight up murked them for being weak except for Enmu. Muzan doesn't care about any of the demons he spawns, he cares even less about humans.

We saw as much in season two when Akaza showed up and reported that he had murked a hashira. What was Muzan's reaction?
He didn't give praise or congrats, he wasn't even happy about it; he basically told Akaza "So what? I can do that to, you want a cookie for doing the bare minimum?".
Muzan is a character who is arrogance and ego personified, he doesn't send his full force against the Demon Slayer corp. because why would he waste his time with something that he doesn't see as a threat? The only reason he invades the Demon Slayer HQ is because they have Nezuko and if Muzan absorbs her, he wins. Wiping out the Demon Slayer HQ is just the cherry on top.

Why doesn't Muzan double check to see if he actually murked someone? Easy, Muzan doesn't believe he can do anything wrong, so when he murks someone, their murked as far as hes concerned.
Why didn't Muzan go after the Kamado family earlier? Why would he? Better question, where is it said that Muzan even knew who the Kamado family even was? Muzan wants the Blue Spider Lily, not the Kamados why would he place any value on their lives?

A lot of criticism of Muzan is because people weren't paying attention to what was going on.

I know there tends to be backlash when a story, any story (book, manga, etc) is altered too heavily from the source material... But I well and truly do wish there was more downtime like this season throughout the show. It's what made season 1 amazing in it's own way, and it lets character settle and develop. Inosuke and Zenitzu somewhat become stagnant past S1-S2, then suddenly get a bunch of development in the very last part of the story. We could have certainly used more time with Genya given he was only fully introduced in swordsmith (I think my pfp gives away my biases), we could go on. If the rest of the show had closer to S1 pacing, that would cover it's greatest flaw imo.

THANK YOU DEMON SLAYER FOR HAVING MOVIES. WE GET MAHIS MORE VIDEOS

I'm so glad I stayed til the very end for that surprise "bling-bang-bang-born"

The excuse the series make to not having any combined training before was that hashiras couldn't leave from their territory cuz this would mean more deaths. But with muzan retreating all of his demons causing less demons around.

Making this the perfect opportunity to such a training!

8:20 I dont think a scared child who saw a flesh eating monster than gave him the chance to live in exchange for the lives of others would think about coming up with a rashinal plan
