I had been searching for this on YouTube for quite a few days but couldn’t find it. The rear glass of my Toyota Premio was broken, and because of that the back wiper motor was not fitting properly. After watching this video of yours, I got the idea of how the back wiper fits into the rear glass.

Just replaced the wiper motor on my 2015 Toyota Aygo with no issues at all thank to this instructional video! I had to buy a wiper pulling tool for £5 on Amazon because mine was rusted on a little (if anyone is reading do not buy the cheaper ones made of a single piece of metal with a black screw knob on top - it will not fit! You need the one that looks a bit like a claw from a crane machine) The part itself was £26 so saved an absolute fortune compared to the £320 Toyota quoted me! Cheers!

You can use a small nut splitter to get the arm off. It cuts through the aluminium hub like a knife through butter. I like this method because there's basically no chance of damaging the glass or paintwork.

That's in case the plastic comes off with my normal method, which is to use a balljoint splitter with a 13 or 14 mm x 1/4" socket on the wiper nut after it has been loosened a couple of turns. I hope that makes sense without a photo! 😆

I figured out you can save the arm if you lift up the rubber flap covering the 23mm nut and unscrew it all the way using some needle pliers. It is a bit fiddly but doable without damaging the rubber. This gives you wiggle room to hold onto the arm pulling it towards you and then you can hammer it out. Loosening the nut means you're not hammering directly against the glass, just hammering the motor spindle.

I have a 2018 C1,motor seized, had to cut wiper arm off, then 23 mm nut, the rubber mounts with metal backing had terrible rust and effloresence, but eventually got the old ones off, WD40 definitely did its job.
Going to fit new motor tomorrow, just need to clean the fittings up properly and will use a bit of silicone sealant to make sure that no water can penetrate.
The car otherwise is brilliant, 117000 but underneath looks like a 3 year old, bought it recently cheap due to mileage but obviously maintained and serviced to a high standard.

how did you solve the gap that is on the spare part motor . the neck os very long on that and on the stock one you have a stop with rubber. When i transfer the rubber its to much space

What size nut did you use to secure the wiper blade at the end?

Can someone help. I have replaced the motor and it spins fine. However when I put the wiper back on and tighten the nut the wiper will not move, but the motor still spins. What am I doing wrong? Seems as though the wiper is not catching onto the motor.

I have removed it ok following your instructions but am just a little nervous about ordering another one as the one on your link isnt available any more and I dont want the trouble of getting the wrong one etc. I have a part number of
OE Rear Wiper Motor & Cover Kit, Peugeot 108 Citroen C1 Toyota Aygo B001099280, but looks like you have to buy them separately. Plus the one I am about to purchse does not have the plate and rubber seal on the bit that pushes through the glass window. Do I have to remove the old one and put it onto the new motor. Sorry to sound not very knowledgeable but I am not. Plus i am on my own and over 60 with arthritus in my hands which makes it very difficult. Thanks

my aygo is 2021 and the wiper motor died

it is likely it is a genuine toyota part

not even 5 years old, my old aygo 2009 had it's original motor from 2009 to 2026 when i sold it

it feels like quality toyota parts aren't as good as they used to be ?

seriously thinking about a wiper delete

if i replace the motor it will likely fail again even if it is a genuine toyota part so a £30 ebay part will definitely fail sooner

i need to ask MOT garage if a delete is legal ?

then i just use a squeegee to clear the rear screen

unlike most drivers you see on the road you don't need your rear wiper on all the time

so annoyed right now

5 year old motor dead, unless this new design is a step backwards ?

i did see a mk1 aygo pictures where they took the motor apart and got it moving again

saving the cost of a new motor

don't know about mk2 aygo though ?

si hablaras mas lento y modularas mejor, seria GENIAL EN TODO CASO PARA MOSTRAR UN VIDEO DE lo que NO debemos hacer a nuestro coche, esta muy bien gracias minuto 9;55 QUE DICES?
