We went to Santo Amaro, in Maranhão, to visit the Lençóis Maranhenses. We did two tours in this video, the Betânia circuit and the kayak descent down the Rio Alegre. It is worth noting that the company that did not take us to the river for the descent usually goes down with the tourists, providing a guide service. We chose to go down alone because we were with friends experienced in paddling. If you're going down, opt for a guide so you don't get lost like we did.
