Who cares that they weren't from Seattle. Screw Seattle. It isnt the center if the universe. Stone Temple Pilots were phenominal.

Weiland is one of the most underrated frontmen out there, and was my personal favorite. I saw STP three times, and Velvet Revolver once. I have seen hundreds of bands live, and those four shows rank among my favorites. A particular favorite was the Velvet Revolver show. They were on tour with Alice In Chains, and the members of the bands played several songs together. It was an amazing show that I will never forget. When I heard of Scott's death, it was no surprise. To be honest, I am shocked that he made it as long as he did. The inevitability of it all made it one of the hardest to take. Much like Layne Staley, everyone knew it was going to happen, but there was nothing that anyone could do to stop it from happening. It was almost like watching someone die from an incurable disease, and to some extent, that's exactly what it was. Like many of the great singers of the 90s, I just wonder what could have been if his life had turned out differently. RIP

I felt so bad for Scott near the end. He looked so miserable. Very sad.

Not enough on Scott Weiland …he deserves more  looking forward to this!

I was in outpatient rehab when Scott died. It devastated our whole group.
Edit: well done. Thank you.

Scott made an incredible impact on so many of us through his voice and lyrics. Unfortunately he suffered from the disease of addiction and lost the fight. He deserves the upmost respect that can be given.  We are not his judge.

Scott was assaulted as a child. He was carrying heavy trauma. The fact that he made it as far and achieved so much makes him a very strong person imo.

The production could be 'upped' a little bit but the commentary and research is really solid. Thank you for making a really cohesive and comprehensive take on Scott's life. He, for all his troubles, was an amazing artist and human being. I've not found many takes on Scott's story that have encompassed his journey with such compassion and consideration.Thank you man. You've done a really good job. This is the one documentary that I feel actually gives an accurate take on Scott's life in (as I perceive it) the most honest, no holds barred manner. I'll keep an eye out for your content in the future, thank you for doing this.

Thanks for representing Scott too man, it's crazy to me how much hate he gets just because STP wasn't from Seattle.

One of the best Frontmen and lyricists of ALL time.  When Scott was on, he was on fire. 🔥 Great doc. Just wish you would've included more about his lyricism, his chameleon-like vocal ability, his longer periods of sobriety, and all the positive and wonderful aspects of Scott's personality. The fact that he made it out of the 90's and early 00's, when the media (and STP fans) wondered aloud, not if, but when he or Layne would join the ever growing list of od'd rock/grunge musicians. Nobody would ever say it wasn't for lack of trying with Scott. He tried every form of rehab, as well as therapy/meds, to treat his addiction and bi-polar. It's known to be one of the most difficult mental illnesses to treat for good reason. I'd hoped he'd made it out of that darkness for good.

Was lucky to catch Velvet Revolver on a night where Scott brought his "A" game. Absolutely commanded that stage! A frontman on the level of Robert Plant when he was on.

The man JUST LIKED getting high and was a stellar frontman.

I got to sit w/ Scott after a show . He was a real patriot and spoke about how he loved his country . Deep conversation , I did see his many personality changes . But mainly sincerity .

That was strange hearing him sing Vaseline in '13. It was like he never sang professionally, and he was just an ordinary dude doing karaoke. What ever happened to him mentally it wiped out any resemblance  of his former self. I believe it was the mixing of psychiatric and street narcotics which is a dangerous cocktail. He should've done one or the other in his time not both.

From growing up with mental illness, I’d wish it upon no one❤️🙏😞

I was a doorman/bouncer at the legendary Stingers cocktails on Garnet ave in PB San Diego and these dudes would come in sometimes before they got big.  Always good guys.  Never caused any problems

The eyes never lie..His sadness ran deep😢

It'll be a LOOOOONG time before you see another front man like this . RIP 🤘

Scott was such a great singer!

That's my guy. I never missed a show he played in the Atl. I did a tribute to STP and all my originals have been highly influenced by him. He's one of the greats....
