That was awsome!! Thanks for taking us with you.

Lifetime SW WA deer hunter here. You are right, the struggle is real.

That was an unexpectedly refreshing video Chris...thanks for taking us along intimate journey. Congratulations.

Nice video! Good work!  Everything about the experience was familiar, the rain at dark 30 at the gate, the beautiful leaves on the logging roads and in the distance, the dripping nose lol, all of it.
Bt's are a grind, and can be outright demoralizing. I'm glad your son got one too.

Awesome video brother! Amen to never giving up. Great season for you and your son and I hope you guys have many more together in the future. That video is what life is all about. Good job.

Late season in a couple days.. can’t wait

Exactly my philosophy.. I’ve killed a boatload of smaller bucks.. the key to getting a mature blacktail is not shooting the first little buck you see

Fantastic video Chris! I loved the stories and the journey to you getting a buck. Congrats brother.

Love your video. That last week of October is prime time to see bucks on their feet. I got a 3x3 on the morning of the 27th. I like your style of hunting. Keep up the great work and God bless

great video keep up the great work.

That buck you got is well earned. Nice job

Took me home. Thank you.

NILCH’i hunt the wind! Hey Chris you did a great job presenting/ playing the wind ! I believe you’re downplaying your ability though. These deer are hard to hunt that one advantage you spoke about makes people pay attention! Great job on presenting to rifle hunters how to hunt the wind ! I was glad to see your hard work & deep thinking payed off ! I’m the owner of NILCH’i come see me at the Washington sportsman show & I’ll hook up with some goodie’s! But remind me that you’re the dude that doesn’t give up 👊🏻jp

Washington state has banned the use of scent lures for Deer. Read up on the hunting regs .

I hate when people just park next to you and act like it’s not a big deal.  If you were there first people should go find some where else to hunt. I deal with this shit all the time in Washington.

I have the same rifle what caliber are you running im shooting 300 wm

Eyeguards are points. The "with Eyeguards" isn't a thing.

Human sent will not blow out an area. Blacktail can care less about human sent. They'll keep an eye on you your movement is way more of the deciding factor of what they do.

confusing you say more people should try hunting yet complain there are other hunters out there. i don't think the problem is etiquette its that we are all forced to hunt the same tiny areas cause its all gated off for permit hunting

Nice job!  To me, it's not worth hunting in Washington unless I do Archery to many weirdos with guns nowhere to hunt like you stated. This state dont like gun owners or hunters
