Never wanted another mans car to start so bad in my life. I'm rooting for you!

the tension before that car started btw 😭

Matt, I’m a 64 year old surgeon who used to tinker with cars.

What you are doing with your projects is not just fixing cars. You are teaching many young people the value of hard work and staying positive.

In my line of work, failure is not an option. When operating if something goes wrong you HAVE TO FIND A SOLUTION or you might lose a life. That’s what drew me to your videos. Your can do attitude and not giving up until problem is solved.

Keep it up son. You are on a righteous  path.

Lambo tech is a troll 😂

For a bloke that was rebuilding a audi tt 5 years ago and not a mechanic is now rebuilding a flag ship lambo. Respect to you

Not gonna lie........cheered like a little school kid when that car started! Over the moon for you bro. There's been allot of blood, sweat and tears with this one!

Well done guys! The 3 recorded motor faults are almost certainly pointing to a fault with the CAN communications with the inverters (connected to each of the motor). Each ignition cycle is clearing the inverter faults on the new cycle, and the fault is returning quickly, but giving you a few seconds of motor control before the vehicle supervisor says 'enough now'. Check the inverter grounds (particularly near where any damage occurred to the car), and get and oscilloscope on the CAN High and CAN Low lines. CAN high should go between 2.5V and 3.75V as a square wave. CAN low should go from 2.5V down to 1.25V. CAN wires will almost certainly be a twisted pair. If there is a problem with the signals, look at all the connections. You might try disconnecting the low voltage connector to one inverter at a time, then see if you can clear the faults on the other two, and see if the faults on those two stay away. Happy hunting, you're almost there!

I've been an electronic technician for 30 years!! This is the first lesson we learn! Never tell the customer that the problem has been fixed , and walk away with a smirk!!

As an Italian, I think it's a shame that a company like Lamborghini has released a car that can't be repaired after a crash.

The screams and looks on mat faces and the stuff on the floor, absolute cinema.

“Have you ever seen Hot Fuzz?”
Then quotes Shaun of the Dead 🤣🙈

Omg!  The look on Matt’s face when it fired was priceless. 😂😂

The fact a manufacturer like Lamborghini sell a vehicle,  but dont have all the software to fully maintenance the vehicle blows my mind.

@42:50 This is a research and development project for Lamborghini itself. It would be crazy if they would charge their customer for sorting out their lack of knowledge and ability to service the car. This would be great opportunity for their marketing to not charge you a single pound, because its already shameful enough they can't come with a solution for their mothership.

I almost drew tears when Mat was celebrating the start!!! music to my ears.

I think what’s stopping the car from moving might be a safety feature that VW has started adding to their newer vehicles. The seatbelt needs to be fastened before you try to put the car into gear, otherwise, if you try to drive without it, the handbrake will automatically engage and the gearbox will shift into Park.

It’s a small thing, but definitely worth checking out!

Really love your content, keep up the great work and keep those awesome videos coming!

South Africa 🇿🇦🇿🇦 🇿🇦 loves the HWBT crew !!!

1.3m views in 7 hours is mad I don’t think there’s one person alive that doesn’t want this car to start… LEGEND

You & your dad must have been in business together in a past life= you work together so well.
Obviously, it was a very successful one.

@11:46.. "'Do you think Lamborghini are gonna see this Video?".... Hell Yeah!!! The entire Technical Department will be screening the whole build series - With Popcorn 😊.
