Joe was that kid in elementary school who acted like PE class was the Olympics.

This show went from observing two respectful master survivalist to chasing as much clout and action as possible. I will miss and cherish the days of Cody and Dave.

Cody and Dave had the best chemistry on this show and always respected each other, and that is why they were the best duo in my opinion.

Yeah Joe just basically wanted to brag all of the time and pretend that he's Rambo looking for enemies whereas Cody was trying his best to keep it a survival show

I think what annoyed Cody was the actual production of the show itself. Cody wanted to teach real survive skills, not film a Hollywood TV show. He didn’t like faking scenes like the one where he threw everything into the water. Clearly, the only reason he had to throw everything down was for the camera. Cody disagreed with the production of the show and he’s even stated before that, “I’ve never watched the show because it’ll probably just piss me off”.

"I'm looking for rubies so I can quit this ****ing show" Oh, Cody lol

Cody and Dave were the definition of dual survival. No others are going to do it best. Wish they can go back in action

Amazing how hard they tried to make Cody look like the problem, and yet still Joe comes across as being the unreasonable bullheaded one.

This would make such an amazing south park episode.

This is why dave and Cody were magic together. Both had tremendous knowledge and skills and Dave was more willing to take some chances but never did things that were unnecessary and usually they paid off. Meanwhile alot of times Cody reigned him in and showed him things on shelter or water or fire building that he could never have done.

It wasnt about action or drama but very educational and honestly fun to watch bc of them working together

The show was at it best with Dave and Cody.

Cody was the best survival expert on the show. He was working his skills as a real life survival situation, not a TV show.

The show went downhill fast without Dave, him and Cody had such great chemistry. Joe killed the show, which makes sense, Joe seems to like killing things for no reason.

Cody and Dave were the best duo. Different styles but calm, cool, and respectful. Exactly what’s needed between people in a survival situation. Joe seemed obsessed with being a Rambo for tv clout.

Cody understood the mission at hand. It’s a survival show. Somebody in a real life situation, unintentionally having to survive off the land they’re lost in, isn’t always gonna have the skills, gear, and mindset of someone with a military background. Cody always demonstrated the best possible ways to survive with as little ego and equipment as he possibly could. That’s true survival.

Okay let's climb stuff, army crawl through mud, etc. Joe is wanting to be a movie star and Cody is literally trying to survive. Conserving energy and avoiding any dangerous situation is key. Jesus.
