He's saying that like he fought better fighters than Floyd.

Diego corales was undefeated and was a monster at that time, ricky Hatton at the time was a monster and was undefeated. I love Roy Jones, but he's really coming off like a hater.

Floyd was older than Pac!!

Roy already gave Floyd the biggest compliment a colleague can provide. He said that Floyd did not fight anyone close to his level of skills. The question is, which fighters were on FMJr's level during his career? If there was no one on his skill set level, then that explains it. I understand Roy is saying he took chances by going up in weight, but Floyd became champion in five weight classes, and Roy was champion in four. That means he sought other fighters. Floyd mostly fought boxers who came off a critical victory; that's why they were champions. Which guys were at Roy Jones' skill level during his career?

Roy was hating. He has a video admitting that back in 2004, it doesn’t make sense for Shane Mosley and Oscar to face Floyd because he was too good for them. Let’s lay it out, many boxers didn’t wanna face Floyd, at all. He was too good for them and they knew it. As far as Roy, he’s upset because Floyd has the nerve to believe he’s better than Ali, which is his right. Nor is it on Roy to get upset and talk about that.

Nobody was on Floyd’s level. They was all beneath him. Shane said he had to get his tooth fixed, manny and his people ran, Hamed didn’t want it, Antonio didn’t either, Miguel’s people didn’t want him facing Floyd, Ricky’s father didn’t, Frietas didn’t, Oscar literally wanted to fight like Floyd and hired his father to train him.

This man more punch drunk than I thought hating is a disease

He a hater

I saw Roy fight Derrick Harmond, Eric Harding, Richard Hall a former cop, Gonzalez, Glen Kelly.  Other than Hopkins and Toney Jones fought guys who had no chance against him.  He could have fought Calzage when they were younger but he didn't.  Roy look like his dad but he got his mama's chin.  I used to be a fan.  He is tarnishing his legacy more than the knockouts he received.

It’s all about when you fight the fighter. real fighters know that.

Nicely encapsulated - thanks for uploading; I like it and subscribed.

Floyd fought more championship than anyone in the history of boxing, but to Roy, he never fought anyone. What's higher than fighting a champion?

It’s hard for Floyd to fight anyone on his level cause no one is on his level so that’s a bad take

Mannnnnn Roy is using that old Media narrative like Canelo wasn't 42-0-1 and had 44 Amateur fights. Also Canelo was 23, not 21. How many fights do you need? Floyd was just that good

When you're the best, who's on your level

So when Floyd was young and the opponents were his age when he fought younger fighters Roy & others say they were too old. Ok then when Floyd was older & fought fighters that was his age in his early 20’s Roy & others say they were too young & not ready but you didn’t this when Floyd was too young. See what u doing?

He said anybody on his level and they prime is a big difference

Listen man. Sometimes you are so great that everyone looks regular. Blatant disrespect to those champions.

Roy is mad because he feels like he was better than Floyd but dont got the money or the accolades that Floyd has

We also can't fault Floyd for the fighters who didn't WANT NO SMOKE when he was calling them out. At the time they considered it a huge risk with little reward.

Roy is right. Floyd didn't fight anyone on his level because no one was on Floyd's level. That's why he's undefeated. Roy said something else that was silly. He said Floyd didn't fight the best fighters in their prime. Floyd wasn't in his prime his whole career either, but to Roy Floyd was never out of his prime. Floyd was so great. Roy thinks Floyd was in his prime his whole career even when he was 35 and beat a champion that was 23 in his prime named Canelo. Roy is punch drunk, and basically all he fought was tomato cans his whole career.
