Twitch would rather ban a person for a minor inconvenience and keep someone who committed crimes live on the platform

The Nina Lin situation definitely doesn't help them like what were they thinking?

Twitch would rather ban a person for a minor inconvenience, than to ban a person for an inconvenience regarding minors.

Nina Lin gets banned for 24 hours for committing actual crimes on camera, meanwhile Tectone gets banned for a week for calling someone fat.

I hate how because of Twitch favoring popular, "ranchy" female streamers, that ppl have a problem with ALL female streamers, or at least they word it that way. They always blame them for their popularity and not the guys watching them.
That was more of a 2016/2017 thing, but still.

Why are SOME of the biggest Twitch streamers ether so freaking weird or straight up horrible people?

Nina Lin sounds like she's been smoking since she was 15

Unless she would be dead by now if she had been smoking since 15.

The problem is that these moderaters don't really care as they'll do whatever it takes to get money (even if it's from depraved gooners) and there are a lot of examples of companies doing this e.g the Nina situation and the gooner invasion of 2024 vid from last year

Creators have no perfect home:

Twitch is the best but the most frustrating.

YouTube is reliable but soulless.

Kick is profitable but dangerous for your reputation.

And nobody has made a balanced, well-moderated, creator-friendly, community-rich platform yet.

it's funny because during the whole nina stealing drama, rakai did the same thing and got a two year ban for it😭

Twitch employees have been giving special treatment to female streamers for as long as I can remember. Hasan is literally the exception to the rule in my opinion. I have a feeling that’s because most of the employees either sympathize or agree with his politics. I stopped having faith in the mods a long time ago.

Still messes me up that Twitch initially was only going to give Emiru's assaulter a 30 day ban from the PLATFORM, not even from Twitchcon where it happened 😭😭🙏🏼
