Our 3200 I has been performing perfectly. One pull starts, and we’ve been using it while Boondocking in below freezing temperatures. Fortunately, the price of it was not a big concern for us. Thanks for your honest honest👍

Eu3000is since 2009, change oil, filters etc, clean exhaust screen, ethanol free gas only….never one issue…installed tri-fuel kit also, no issues

Just bought a brand new, sealed in box EU2200i for $899 from an authorized retailer, using a $100 coupon code offered by them. I’m happy with that.

I personally did my homework before purchasing my camping generators, I’m always looking for durability and efficiency and of course Honda is synonymous with that but, prices are just way off for some people’s budget including mine.
After thorough investigation I purchase two WEN 4800 ($628.00 at that time) after 100+ hours on my units I couldn’t be happier and I believe they will last for a long time specially with my rigorous maintenance and, I’m not running them full throttle as at 4k watts rated is plenty of power for my need so they are always running in Eco Mode.
Your video is very instructive and we are thankful for the time you put into these reviews, I have to share with you my oil change set up for the generators, I believe you are going to like it.
Cheers from Miami.

I got two eu2000i and still running like a champ

I have seven of those EU3200i generators. We run pretty much 7 hours per day, six days per week. Two years so far, no problem. Had to change oil often to keep up with the generator performance since we use more than the average user. It's very portable and enough to run our food trucks. Wish it's a little bit beefy though, but then our workers won't be able to lift it comfortably. I say two years into heavy usage, I give it 9.7/10 simply because ECO mode doesn't supply enough energy for the truck operation and normal mode uses a little bit more gas and noisier.

Very Informative. Thanks. I have an eu2000i I got back in 2014. It’s a solid built. Easy to work on and parts are cheap. I’ll stick to it for another 20 years. Always put fuel stabilizer in it.

Bought my 3200 for the RV a/c, 15k unit with soft start. 2200 would have run near max and 3000 was heavy to be portable.
Two 2200’s was also more size than I wanted to haul so bit the bullet and sprung for the 3200.
Love the size vs 3000 or 2-2200’s. Bought the extended run cap for auxiliary tank. Fits my situation well but only because of the size factor.
Almost went with the 3000 but wanted something the wife could move if she had to pack camp so the 3000 was a no go.

Glad you posted.

750 hrs now on the eu3200i. 10hrs per day now, 90 daytime temp. in the keys, running 1500 to 2000 watts, two 5k btu windows, and 70amp lifepo4 12v charger

@dipstick5869 2 years ago

In my situation, 2 smalls are better than 1 and then add a bit of solar to the mix. Thanks for the info Johnny 😉

Bought a EU2000 20 years ago and it works like new!

@davidhorst4659 1 year ago

Regarding the comments on dual fuel, there is no carburetor to bypass on the EU3200. It is one of the only fuel injected generators in the market. That’s one of the reasons it is more expense and worth it. You won’t get the gummed up carb issues.

Great video, appreciate your time invested in this video and knowledge. Made my decision making simple.

Great video! Harbor Freight has many multi-fuel generators now and a 9500 multi-fuel coming out soon. Project Farm did a comparison between Honda and Harbor Freight and the Honda was better, but not worth the price difference. I recommend to all to take a course or two on small engine repair at your local community college. I did and it helps a lot.

I still have a Honda 1800 from the early 80s. It runs like a top.

Great video, valuable knowledge and insights. Respect that you're not a guy who's afraid to look at things objectively.

Bought my Honda EU 3000, must have been 15 years ago. When they first came out. Added remote start to use when camping. No idea how many hours, but use it for 2 weeks to run the AC every year. It is so old, Asked Honda for the gasoline gage. They had no idea when it was produced by the serial number. Still runs like a champ. Only thing I did was change the spark plug. Change synthectic oil after every use.

I had two Eu2200i. Sold both of them when we purchased a whole house natural gas genny. I did buy a EU2200i for the cabin and it will do more than I need. The bluetooth is quirky so I don't use it. I added an hour meter to keep up with run time. Oil changes every 50 hours, non ethanol premium fuel and monthly exercise with varying loads. Great assessment Johnny. Thanks!
