A true challenge for any FICSIT Pioneer!

With the release of Satisfactory 1.2, I've decided that I want to tackle the challenge of Randomized Resource Node Locations, x100 Space Elevator costs, x5 Power Consumption costs and x2 Build costs. All of which compounds on itself as you'll soon see in this NEW series I'll be making that highlights the journey of this new hard mode playthrough!

Everyone seems to miss that on 2x parts, solid biofuel, even biomass, is not the way to go anymore.
Look at the component costs in MJ.

I admire the challenge you've set for yourself. I can't say I'd be prepared to do the same. As you highlighted, the power multiplier will be the most challenging and an area that you're always going to be upgrading. The quality of the video is a welcome surprise, considering this is 'new' to you. Keep it up, as I'm sure you'll do very well.

Nice playthrough scenario - will definitely be following.

The reason so few players have completed many of the achievements is because they are counting player numbers since early access began, but achievements were only added in 1.0. You can correct for it (approximately, at least) by using the number who have completed an introductory achievement as your denominator.

The only way i could see myself considering this challenge is if im willing to run around and make an alien somersloop generator to start with. Bio gens are brutal.

An amazing first video - looking forward to see more parts of this. Though I would've really set all the nodes to pure bcs the increased cost for everything is already enough of a pain (at least in my eyes) bcs this node purity may not lead to more intersting gameplay but rather to more idling to wait out resources

Man, I am glad I stumbled upon your channel. You are great at creating videos. I am surprised that you don't have more subs. I wish you luck on your journey as well because I started a wold where it is just 100x elevator parts, and even though the first elevator cost is 'only' 5000 smart plateing, the second is 100,000 smart plateing, 100,000 versatile framework and 10,000 automated wiring, I think. which is going to be a pain, but I hope you get through it, but remember also to have fun, that is what games are for.

GL GL i did 2x power cost 2x crafting cost and 10x space elevator and my struggle was gathering biomass fast enough for my setup to make the plating it was painful i spent about 12 hours just cutting trees with a chainsaw and the issue was i started cutting to many things down that every time i needed more biomass i had to keep going farther and farther away making it take longer to get the next inventory of leaves and logs

I only now realised when you brought it up with the 2x cost multiplier stacking every layer of production,
that the end game automation of items will have a cost so exponentially high (probably) that even a full map of pure nodes would probably struggle to keep up with it..
oof

You would probably have to get a sombersloop in literally every machine possible (past normal game amount) just to be able to keep up,
and even then, the power demand would end up killing the factory as well.
