Jung Kook’s “3D” immediately caught my attention with its smooth, throwback sound and a groove that felt strangely familiar. As a Gen X listener, I couldn't help hearing echoes of the late ’90s and early 2000s—including a moment that took me straight back to Justin Timberlake.

But as the song develops, it raises a bigger question: When does sexy become crude?

There’s nothing new about sexuality in music. Prince, Madonna, Janet Jackson, Michael Jackson and countless others pushed those boundaries decades ago. But is there a difference between being sensual, suggestive and simply being explicit?

In this reaction, I break down Jung Kook’s sound, the 3D concept, that familiar throwback groove, and one part of the song that completely changes the experience for me.

Agree or disagree, I want to hear your take: Where do you draw the line between sexy and crude in music?
