Translation: âOh, we loved what Stephanie White did in the last game with her Defensive playsâŚ.â Dude?! She freegin shouldâve kept to the second game offensive Plays? How can you think sheâs consistent & good for the Team? Clark & Mitchell obviously were just done with it all in that Fourth QuarterâŚ. đ¤Śđťââď¸đŠ
She not only messed up this year, but set the team up for failure next year's salary cap- no $$ for the big three or bringing in free agents. Even if there is a different coaching staff there just won't be enough talent across the board. Wow - took her all season to understand the need for a stronger frontcourt when it was obvious in April.
Great questions from Indy Star! I do like she spoke up for CC and the fanbase, but that should have been right away and not at the exit when your job is on the line. I also heard a lot of contradiction and lack of accountability in the Roster Setup & future plans, she knows the weaknesses yet failed at it sounds like rinse and repeat a flawed process. God I hope Indiana Fever will take the right measures: have the best of the best in your camp and forge that Iron when It's Hot!
Like what she said about âthe noiseâ = ppl actually care. Stephanie White lost that somewhere along the way, just wanted the internet to be nicer. Heavy is the head.
The thing you need to understand about Clark is she is not a victim.
She does not want people to go around defending her. why you ask, because her game speaks for itself, her character speaks for itself, her global success speaks for itself.
She is not looking for apologies or defenders like other players in this league.
You can tell you really love each of these players. Nice touch striking back the narrative. I look forward to traveling to Indy next summer for a game!
Silent about the attacks on the fans during the turmoil, missed calling out rival players and organizations for spreading the slurs, finally speaking unreservedly about Caitlin Clark - this feels like someone finally trying to make up lost ground.
