Finally got my hands on this speed demon, the Voigtlander Nokton 50mm f/1 and it was worth the wait! I revisit my test shots with the Leica 50 Noctilux f/0,95 the TT Artisans 50 f/0.95 as well as the Summilux-M 50 1.4 ASPH. Photos taken with the Leica M10.

After getting the Summilux 50mm f1.4 ASPH V!! I'm done with Leica glass and the overrated price. Most of their lenses will not suit high MP cameras like the M10 or M11 which is what I Use, and after using some of the voightlanders, they can resolve more details than some of the Leica lenses that were designed exclusively for film. Even the Summilux 50 f1.4 V2 still has the old optical formula with closer focusing distance which add more softness and CA to your image. Voigtlander for me moving forward for my M10 and M11

I bought the lens after i saw your review. I tested it on a Leica M11. I’ve to say: your review is more than okay. My M11 50mm photos will never be the same. Meant in a positive way. So serious compliments and with pleasure subscribed to your channel!

Bought mine 2 months ago for my Leica M-A and boy… it’s my best M lens so far.
I love thick lenses (not long) and this one is perfect. I sold the Nokton 1.5 ii Cuz it’s too small for me.
The F1 sleeps on my m-a.
The film images are just gorgeous. 3D pop as you said is there.
It’s my daily driver for people (friends/family).

They just got this in Z mount so i'm saving up for it. Can't wait! Thanks for all the info on it, i'm currently loving their 58 f1.4 adapted to my Z6. Must be a nice fit to try the 50 in its native mount.

Well-done presentation! I recently took delivery of my 50mm f/1 Nokton, plus a 21mm f/1.4 Nokton, part of my plan to conrtinue to postpone acquiring an expensive M10 Monochrom, by feeding more light to the M Type 246 sensor, as another hot Texas summer means more low-light shooting.

Hey up Andrew m8! Ok u sold me, I want 1. I came from the old village Canon LTM 50/0.95 & 50/1.2. They’re beautiful character in all but I think this one has an edge on the wide open clarity. I love the balance of the Canon LTM 0.95 on a Zf. So I can imagine I will enjoy this one just as much.

I've had this lens for a few years and love it. I wanted to experience a Noctilux but don't have that kind of money for one. This is a bargain in comparison and handles really well to the point it it's fun to take out and use occasionally for street/travel. I have no plans to sell, even if it's my least used lens due to the size/weight.
