As someone who drives around rural North and Mid Wales for a living I never tire of the glorious views we have here, every day brings another pleasure no matter what time of year.

Yes, please do more of this type of video. I always like the driving ones because I get to see parts of the UK I don't visit. I live in Dorset and spend a lot of time on holiday in Northern Scotland but I've never done Wales.

The long road trips you took in Betty in New Zealand was one of the things that really got me into this channel in the first place. I like when you get the chance to do videos like this because the scenery is always lovely and they're very educational.

I've been back & forth to Llynbrianne for more than 20 years.
It used to be an escape from the world due to no phone signal.
Imagine my dismay when I was sat admiring the view and tranquility... and my phone rang 😩 (EE)

I have been fortunate to drive in Wales, especially the more popular tourist locations 4 times - 1986, 1993, 2002 (just after the Queen Mother died) and 2017. I usually drive on the 'scenic routes' marked on the maps and atlases but also unnumbered goat paths. I had a rental 2016 Ford Fiesta in my 2017 trip, it was just right for those 'single track' roads. For sure have to watch for stray sheep and slow tractors on the roads there.

I was in Kent one morning and friends in Cardiff invited me over. It so happened that the TV had been on and showing an episode of Fireman Sam. Anyway, I duly trundled over, it never seemed to take that long when you could just jump on whatever train you liked and go!
I walked into the living room at said friends, just as exactly the same episode of Fireman Sam was on the Telly...... In Welsh!

Definitely more mini roadtrip type videos would be great from time to time.
And a round of applause for the Avensis, how smooth and quiet she is, Ian ive said it before your narrative skills are superb.
The scenery in mid is so like here in nw Ireland in #Donegal.
The remoteness of large parts of your jaunt was amazing.
Their aren't many spots that you can find peace and quiet and nothing but scenery.
Perhaps a roadtrip with eerr in doors on the navigation.

Just watched this and enjoyed every single minute of it. I've been in a pretty crappy place mental health wise for the past few days but this has helped lift my spirits considerably - all that stunning Welsh scenery was an absolute tonic.

I have watched driving videos on other channels and I find them quite enjoyable. I spent some time in Wales in 1990 and it’s a rugged but beautiful country. Wouldn’t mind seeing more of these.

Wonderful video, many thanks indeed. I've just finished eleven years in a job where I had to drive many of these roads on my routes to locations. The journey to work was always a joy.

I live in Surrey but toying with retirement in Dorset, prompted by Atomic Shrimp's wonderful vids, but a close second is Wales inspired by Ian. My PC setup is; Hubnet in the left window, Rightmove in the right. Perfect :-)
