so nice they sing in norwegian. beautiful song, beautiful sound. perfect for lonesome evenings

Ensom=onesome
A good word for lonely.

I always love your reactions to Kalandra!
I tried to translate the lyrics:

You are chilled behind a closed mind
Am I the only one who does not let in?
In the city you are a night raven
Is it just me who does not find the way?
I just wanted to say
You can talk to me about anything, are you lonely?
There are many reasons to stay
But if none of them are enough, please tell

Ooh ooh

Do you have someone to be with?

Ooh ooh

Do you have someone to share with?

So often I thought about
whether I should stay or whether I should go
The snow packs all the sounds
Can no longer feel your heat
Wondering if I should tell
Can I talk to you tonight? I am lonely
There are many reasons to stay
There are also many reasons not to say anything

Ooh ooh

Do you have someone to be with?

Ooh ooh

Do you have someone to share with?

Someone like me
can also be someone like you, can also be lonely
can also be lonely

Someone like me
can also be someone like you, can also be lonely
can also be lonely

Very nice reaction to a very calm soothing song

Great reaction! This is one of my favorite songs by them. Partly because of the clever lyrics. (Ensom) means lonely, and (en som) that sounds almost exactly the same, means one like. so parts of the lyrics can for example be heard as "one like me, can also be one like you" or  "lonely me, can also be lonely you" or a combo "lonely me, can also be one like you"

I suppose you guys know Aurora has released a new track and announced her new album .... !
I Hope Kalandra release a new one this year I really love 'The Line' .

That was awesome. I love her voice. Sounds a little like Aurora. By the way, Tori Amos released 2 new singles from her upcoming album ' Ocean to Ocean'. The songs are Speak with Trees and Spies. No video yet but the audio. They are pretty good. Aurora released a lyric video, Giving in to the Love's. It is very good, as Aurora is always great

A beautiful song. I really enjoy Kalandra. Definitely some more please.

Thank you for your reaction. The lyrics for this song are fantastic and clever, but pretty hard to translate. Since you have the album, I guess there’s only a few older tunes on their YouTube channel “left.” But their Helvegen cover is more than worth a listen. :)

Katrine has some interesting thoughts on music, incidentally:

“I love the female voice, and all the vocal techniques I can learn from everywhere in the world – everything from the Norwegian cow call, like kauking to Arab and Indian vocal styles. Arab and Indian vocal techniques in pop music is becoming increasingly more and more popular in Norway these days – have a listen to artists like Emilie Nicolas and Highasakite for example. I’ve tried to make the guys in the band discover the wonders of Peruvian throat singing, but it’s difficult. It’s amazing what the voice can do!” – Katrine Stenbekk, Kalandra

Mmh tasteful voice 💋

Thanks for this nice reaction, guys. Kalandra is new to me, I thought I knew all Norwegian singers 👍
If you want a special experience, please react to the latest Cakra Khan cover, "Anyone", by Demi Lovato. It took me by surprise, and left the deepest impact of the last decade for me. If you react to it, you know exactly what I mean. Thanks guys, well done as always 💕

Thank You, Thank You, Thank you! my overall fav song. i know no Norwegian, but can sing this. plays every day at my house, or in mt car.
AuRoRa comes first, but Katrine and this song is freaking wonderful.
