All my videos were made in a short period of free time that I had in 2024. This video was just my attempt at making something pretentious as that seems to do well on YouTube. When I return to making videos, I'll probably be doing things differently.

this is more relevant today than it was when this movie came out

He broke the first rule

I'm Jack's wasted life

“Finally some good f*cking food” = my general impression of finding this channel - thank you for sharing these well written video essays.

Has anyone who comments "hurr you broke the first rule duuurrr" even watched the movie? HE WANTED THEM TO BREAK THE RULE HE WAS BUILDING AN ARMY. What makes people want to do something more than anything else? Telling them not to do it. The rules is just further social manipulation from Tyler.

Your views on the modern internet and social media is spot on. I wish smart phones weren't so accessible for so much bullshit in the world. I can't even focus on my own life bcuz I'm addicted to scrolling and even tho it gives me anxiety I still can't control it bcuz it's so easy to get caught up

It really was ahead of its time, how many guys in these comments would partake if something like FC was operating I know i would. I do often feel lost like most of my life has been leading up to something, idk what,  because that something ultimately never came,  as i look around i realize the dreams and aspirations i had, were pushed on the back burner to advance a goal that was never mine,  i grew older and bought into a idealistic fantasy that had no real meaning other than existence, survival, consumerism late stage capitalism, i was feeding the machine my hopes and given generic feeling of stability and mild comfort, no risk lifestyles,  no chances taken no changes made,  i settled for a life mediocrity to fit in to a mold I NEVER WANTED TO FILL  don't be like me i don't like Andrew Tate but i do agree that society has tried to convince men to bury the instincts that kept humanity alive and evolving

Fight club is one of the greatest movies ever . The amount of messages this movie has is absolutely incredible. Thank you for your videos never stop doing them!

God, I cannot put into words how bloody refreshing this video essay was. Thank you so much for sharing this.

Such a good insight. I've watched FC more than any movie ever, starting in '99. At that age I was 16, not having even finished high school and due to this I saw what was in store for me, i.e working jobs you hate, following the predictable path of getting married, having kids and getting into debt like a worker slave. Now here 25 years later I can tell you, the movie was prophetic. There's a lot that that I didn't realize about myself until now, and how it parallels the movie. Maybe I was set off by the movie, realizing the pointlessness of being  worker/career slave in the future, but your analysis of the film has brought new meaning, and reflectance. Thank you!

Another great video. On a small note, I feel the background music could have been a little quieter at parts in relation to your voice.

Otherwise, great work; as long as you're consistent, I could see this channel blowing up.

I wrote a song once, never finished it. A part which fits this video is "why do the preachers get all the gold? If true richness comes from the soul. Dont folow look ahead, not at the floor. Walk with the wolf if you want to fall to the road.

Do what youre good at, not what the comments think you should do. You dont need to have the "correct" interpretation of film. Its art. Good luck in future mate.

28:06 I don’t think people understand this enough but it is a really important lesson that should come with maturation

26:45 this also is because it's the first time the narrator has known, not feared death and more importantly took control. The shooting didn't kill Tyler the narrator just no longer needs him

Damn I feel completely the same about people who hate the idea of making any effort, a lot of those in blackpill community. Its just self destructive and at the end just leads to you being miserable. But it's convenient to just say "much my genes", "much my autisim (self-diagnosted, often)" and so on instead of making any effort.

I had this fight Club game on the Xbox. That I worshipped

Fun fact Jared Letos character in the game is called "Angel Face"

The algorithm exposed me to this channel and it's a good one

11:04 my second time watching fight club I noticed that at the start of this scene where tyler is first introduced the first thing you see is the seatbelt light on the plane turning off symbolizing that the narrators restraints are now untethered
