Before watching the video Yes, obviously. No sun damage.
Pre-Dawnguard
Oh dear. Uh… yes…?
Everyone attacks you on sight
Oh… oh no. This is somehow worse then oblivion. How even.

I had never actually played as a vampire in Skyrim pre dawnguard so it’s pretty cool to see how it all worked before then. Honestly as long as you feed it doesn’t sound too bad, but of course having everyone attack you on sight for not feeding sounds real annoying

He's a vampire!
...but he's the dragonborn
But he's a vampire!
...but he's the dragonborn

Yeah, the fact that having certain People be hostile to you Can break quests is probably why this feature was removed in dawnguard.

I commend anyone that made Pre-Dawnguard Vamprisim work. The whole world chooses to become your enemy, even if you're there to save them.

Man I forgot that vampirism used to make people hostile. I was so confused about why this was a challenge.

btw you can beat dawnguard as a vampire. and I don't mean joining the vampires. you need to contract the disease and not become a vampire lord. for some reason isran just ignores that you are a vampire.

Being able to hide your vampirism through ways other than feeding would have been interesting. Like wearing clothes or armor that hide the obvious features.

Advice for arschnophobes: there is a creation that turns the spider model into a weirdly stretched Spiderman and changes spider sounds to Spiderman clips

There is also a mod that turns them into wolves

First off I would like to thank you for not killing Paarthurnax. Delphine can shove that request where the sun don't shine or she can try killing Paarthurnax herself if she wants him dead so badly.

I would mention Morrowind and seeing if you could beat the game as a Vampire but something tells me that the answer would be a solid no since some of the main quest takes place outside and Ashlanders are assholes who won't let you wait in any of their yurts until nightfall unless you have either a silver tongue or a lot of gold.

The thought of Test somehow getting yoinked BACKWARDS through time to the middle of the Third Era (rather than the end which is Oblivion's setting) seemed funny to me even though it's probably never going to happen.

Arngeir sprinting at you with his fists raised and boss music in the bg actually made me lose my shit 😭😭 yo this old man bout to beat my ass--

25:18 The first scenario I've ever seen where "May your road lead you to warm sands" is actually relevant.

In the Oblivion run you allowed yourself to drink blood if the game didn't let you progress any other way; by that rule I think a vampire run is doable in the base game, if only just since the NPC aggression is technically something you can work around with good enough stealth, seduction and luck. Alternatively you can grind like a monkey until you're durable or enchanted enough to take it for a good while, which would help with being attacked when talking. I doubt it'd be a compelling video though.

Still, lots of fun watching this, can't wait for the hinted-at following videos.

So... That's what it's like to be shouted off of a mountain...

That was absolutely fabulous. Thank you for your hard work to provide that entertaining video, I truly appreciated it :)

The algorithm has chosen you, you are worthy.

The voice reminded me of Lazlo from What we do in the shadows series
xd

This video is so captivating
I mean, to think British people actually speak like this, fascinating
