“Would rather not spend 2 grand on my optic stack” b-rolls to a 2 thousand dollar aimpoint red dot/mag combo

Best magnifier is my dad, because he always points out my flaws and instances where i have made errors In my life.

Good ole dad!

I swear to christ Hop, I just bought a g33 last night on an early Black Friday deal, if you do not validate my purchase with this video I'm coming to take Socko away.

It's called a "forming a hopinion"

Your dry, sarcastic, no-fluff, and honest approach at reviewing gear earned my respect. Your interaction with Matt Pranka? That earned you a spot in my heart forever. A thousand hugs to you and Happy Thanksgiving.

Being able to QD a magnifier on and off to save weight is a major selling point for me… plus it’s easier to share across multiple rifles

But how long has the magnifier worn a helmet?

socko looking quite handsome today, truly a hopsgiving miracle:_happyirl:

I love being called a Prism Chud.  I’ll wear it as a badge of honor.

Hop is still working out his feelings about the Thunder Ranch BUIS incident with passive aggressive comments. We're here for you, Hop.

Thank you for validating my decision to purchase a Juliet4, which I definitely bought because I wanted less distortion than a G33 and not at all because it matches the Romeo4T Pro.

My tism doesn't allow me to run a different brand magnifier than my optic so it's eotech for me

I’m thankful for hop and his hubby brass facts

i love listening to americans talk about all kinds of gun attachments from the comfort of my gunless french home

A thanksgiving treat.

I prefer the older holosun 3x strictly because it is longer, allowing for the use of a rear sight still.

The Vortex micro 3x being short was actually why I bought it, replacing a primary arms 3x.  It's on a bullpup, so it lets me get a comfortable sight picture without pushing the optic forward of the center of balance (and also keeping it on the segment of rail thats actually bolted to the gas block, the most solid position).  That it came with a nice QD mount out of the box was a huge plus, so you can remove it when not needed, hand it off, or use it as a stand alone observation device etc etc etc

“… I’m going back to lower 1/3.”
Don’t call it a comeback - been here for years.

I thought for sure that my Romeo 4x would be a "hold me over until i want to soend more money" optic, but i absolutely love it. Its a bit heavy, but thats fine. It hops between my 5.56 and my polymer .22lr squirrel gun, and i like the weight it adds to the .22 because that plastic gun moves with my fucking heartbeat.
