🔥 THE NIGHT THE HOLY TRINITY SAID GOODBYE

Welcome to Dusty Reel Archive. This session is a tribute inspired by Cream's "Farewell Concert" — November 26, 1968, Royal Albert Hall, London. In just over two years together, Eric Clapton, Jack Bruce, and Ginger Baker had sold more records than the Bible had in the previous 24 years, earning the admiration of legends like Leonard Bernstein along the way. But simmering tensions — particularly between Bruce and Baker — brought it all to an end. After a 19-city farewell tour across America, the trio closed things out with two final UK shows, broadcast by the BBC and immortalized as their goodbye to the world. The band themselves were reportedly unsatisfied with these final performances, but history remembers it differently: as one of rock's most legendary send-offs.

This session recreates that historic farewell — disoriented searching, desperate crossroads bargains, primal drum release, and a defiant, triumphant closing walk into the unknown, all captured with the raw, unpolished character of a real 1968 concert hall recording.
