Like i get what they were going for. Being able to stack the shots together to release a massive burst sounds good and fun. But they absolutely fumbled it. Because you can put down more shots per second with the normal aphelion, while each shot does more damage.
It's literally a nerf ☠️☠️

I think aphelion is PVP oriented weapon, so this test is not that precise.

Also, the 4-6 burst is capable of 1 shooting a Raider

Don’t sleep on the outpost for storing weapons people and when you have maxed out the gun racks, you can put 6  racks of 4 in Storage as well as the 30 slots you can display in the outpost, it’s given me loads of inventory back!

So far, hearing about all new weapons "well, its not the worst" makes me think we were fooled again.

I hope they add more customization for the guns in the future.

Yeah, the padded stock has always been required on the Aphelion.

It might help if you crouch whilst aiming/shooting.

10:54 you "one shotted" it because the projectiles threw it into the wall behind i think. that gun seems to have decent knockback power

You have the option for long charges at close range (and alpha strikes), shorter charges at medium range and tap firing at long range.
Don't just hold down the buttin ever single time like a goober 🧡 and you'll enjoy it a hell of a lot more.

11:04 He died in one hit because you made him collide with the house - that's what killed him. Same thing when you killed two enemies at once: you made the front enemy bounce into the one behind him

Honestly looks sick, but this test really did not suit the gun. Potentially crazy pvp choice just from the burst damage, but with extra mag size and burn damage the damage per mag issue is finally fine. On top of that it doesnt struggle against arc. Big win for the aphelion i think

Best example for clear damage is bombardier. Way to faster to get dmg.

Hey Diggy! Maybe I missed it, you still working on skill tree vid? I spent too much money playing around with it and gotta just leave it for now. I'm loving the mobility perks. I swear when I mixed certain skills I was wall running matrix style. (No exhaustion I run forever! Only need stims. To counteract the deficit! 🎉)
Wall running, really seem to get it working after changing things around though. Maybe I imagined it all. i HAD been playing for endless hours while delusionally sick w some cold.
I only have the 76 base points to use aslo & keep wondering if maxing an entire tree gives you super extra perks nobody has found?

I haven't been able to put in the time to get everything done. Prob gonna do some trials stuff when i finally play. Trials skin is sweet this season! ❤ It's prob my fave so far even better than the baseball looking one.

The targets in the practice range dont take extra damage from head shots for some reason, the shot at 14:14 would have one shot a real raider. If you land all shots, with at least one shot landing on the head, itll oneshot any raider with any shield. With the burn damage you can oneshot medium shield with no headshots and It'll leave someone with a heavy shield on 2.5 hp

fyi, with both burst upgrades, you do 135 damage to a raider if you hit all 6 beams, and thats not even counting headshots. i feel like the aphelion, and especially when amplified for sextuple burst, is designed to be a pvp monster instead of a pve one

Just imagine getting ratted with a free load out while having Amplified weapons

i love this game but loosing my gun that i just spent many raids upgrading to a rat really really really hurts
