Rodri just won the World Cup Golden Ball as Spain's best player — after an ACL injury, a back surgery, and a €65m move to Barcelona. In this video, we break down 3 midfielder lessons every football player can steal from Rodri's game: how he scans before the ball arrives, why the "boring" pass is usually the correct one, and how he defends by anticipating instead of reacting.
If you play midfield — center mid, defensive midfield, or box-to-box — these are the exact habits that separate elite decision-makers from athletic but erratic players. No dribbling drills. No highlight-reel skills. Just football IQ you can build starting this week.
