The Transfer Glitch is still working in No Man's Sky 7.0 COSMOS, using the same workaround for the coordinate changes introduced around patch 6.4.
The method shown in this guide has been tested again in Ver. 7.0 COSMOS on PS5, and the Transfer Glitch and its coordinate behavior remain unchanged from Ver. 6.45.
Around patch 6.4, the coordinate behavior of the Transfer Glitch appears to have changed from absolute to relative coordinates, causing transferred parts to appear far away from the Corvette instead of at the intended position.
This workaround matches the relative positions from the base origin and the Corvette origin, allowing transferred parts to land accurately at the intended location again.
In this guide, I'll show you how to use this method to create an accurate guide for placing Corvette parts vertically.
Once the guide is set up, you can use it in the Corvette Workshop to place vertical parts such as vertical tail fins.
Tested on No Man's Sky Ver. 7.0 COSMOS on PS5.
Note: This building method uses glitches and may stop working in future updates.
