Interview with Rita, mother of Douglas de Oliveira da Silva, a 15-year-old who disappeared on April 16, 2003, in the city of Itupeva, São Paulo.

The young man had a lot of friends and loved animals. One day, Rita came home from work and found him missing. Douglas had gone to his father's house but was never seen again. Alone, his mother began a tireless search for her son.

The Douglas Silva case is one of the stories told in the second season of "Desaparecidos," a series produced by Iracema Rosa Filmes and broadcast in 2017 on A&E.
