No matter how bad the day is, i can always count on smiling after watching you...😁😁😁❤❤❤

La Vida Loca is Spanish for living the crazy life!

Speaking of being caught off guard: in 1999 all of America was watching the Grammys (as you do) and all of the sudden this beautiful dessert of a man named Ricky Martin was introduced. He performed this song and even Madonna couldn’t keep her butt in her seat. HE KICKED IN THE DOOR AND SET THAT PLACE ON FIRE. It was all anyone could talk about the next day.

Edit: I think you guys are right - the performance I’m thinking of was ‘The Cup of Life’ and ‘Livin La Vida Loca’ was the year after. Either way - he stone cold tore it up!

My mom had the biggest crush on Ricky Martin.  Surely he broke a lot of  females’ hearts years later.....

Leo found his inner Latino 🔥

Millions yes millions of women were bummed when we found out that Mr. Ricky was gay. Including myself but I still love him I love everybody Mr. video especially you.

I just ghosted my hubby, danced down the hall with this in my ears, lol.  It was worth it!!  Making my day Mr Video♡

1. Ricky Martin is so hot ❤️🔥
2. I am dying laughing at your reaction (yet again). 🤣😭

My first taste of Ricky Martin was on General Hospital, he left the soap opera to focus on his music , It was a music award show that he was the closing act that set people on fire, even Goldie Hawn got up dancing. Yes he is gay and in a committed relationship and is married he has 4 children, he did not publicly announce he was gay until during the La Vida Loca craze, did that turn woman away from his sex appeal, hell no, he is sexy as F*ck. he is a singer, songwriter, record producer, actor, author and humanitarian. song is written by Draco Rosa and Desmond Child. Here are the lyrics for you

"Livin' La Vida Loca"

She's into superstitions black cats and voodoo dolls
I feel a premonition that girl's gonna make me fall

She's into new sensations new kicks in the candle light
She's got a new addiction for every day and night

She'll make you take your clothes off and go dancing in the rain
She'll make you live her crazy life but she'll take away your pain
Like a bullet to your brain
Come on!

Upside, inside out she's living la vida loca
She'll push and pull you down, living la vida loca
Her lips are devil-red and her skin's the color mocha
She will wear you out living la vida loca
Come on!
Living la vida loca
Come on!
She's living la vida loca

Woke up in New York City in a funky cheap hotel
She took my heart and she took my money
She must've slipped me a sleeping pill

She never drinks the water
Makes you order French Champagne
Once you've had a taste of her
You'll never be the same
Yeah, she'll make you go insane
Alright

Upside, inside out she's living la vida loca
She'll push and pull you down, living la vida loca
Her lips are devil-red and her skin's the color mocha
She will wear you out living la vida loca
Alright!
Living la vida loca
She's living la vida loca

She'll make you take your clothes off and go dancing in the rain
She'll make you live her crazy life
But she'll take away your pain
Like a bullet to your brain
Come on!

Upside, inside out she's living la vida loca
She'll push and pull you down, living la vida loca
Her lips are devil-red and her skin's the color mocha
She will wear you out living la vida loca
Come on!

Upside, inside out she's living la vida loca
She'll push and pull you down, living la vida loca
Her lips are devil-red and her skin's the color mocha
She will wear you out living la vida loca
Come on!
Living la vida loca
Come on!
She's living la vida loca

Come on!
La vida loca
La vida loca

This was my jam in the the late 90s!
Back then, gay performers couldn't be out. It's interesting to me that he had to sing about relationships with women, though he wasn't really interested in them. People would say he was gay, but more as a derogatory rumor more than a fact. Now, he's married to a man and they have four children. It's just so different from what he had to make the public believe when this song was new. The world really was very different then.

Awww Ricky Martin ....What a Beautiful Man !!!

The Latin Fever of the late 90's was something else. Ricky, Santana, Enrique Iglesias, Marc Antony, etc.....

A friend dragged me to one of his concerts back in the day...ended up being one of the best concerts I’ve ever experienced....he is a talented entertainer for sure.

I just got home from the hospital from having a bunch of screws and rods put in my back and I feel like all kinds of garbage, but your videos can still make me smile! Thank you!

He's  a stand up guy to. After the tsunami in Indonesia an infant was found alive. To protect from human trafficking people from trying to claim the child. He paid his own security to watch and protect that child until the right family was located

Got to admit. This song was catchy. Hard not to like it.
I just did a mini early 90s  dive. Try

Great Reaction

It was so catchy Chris Rock called “Living La Vida Loca” the Latin “Whoop, There It Is.”

Ricky Martin & Christina Aquilera “Nobody Wants to be Lonely”. Two smoking hot people singing about how we all feel.
