I came back from New York, a few months ago, after living in that beautiful city for more than 40 years. I’m impressed with the quality of the video.
I’m very grateful. I used to walk all of those streets Monday to Saturday.

I miss Flushing. I was a bus operator in the 80s and 90s I saw when it changed over to Chinatown ,great place. wow, no more glorious pizza.

Right there at Main Street and Northern Blvd, across the street was a movie theater

I moved her back in Nov '97 when it was a bit dirty all over Downtown Dlushing, but over the years it's much cleaner now and love it that way.

Years ago, as a teenager, my bike was stolen in the municipal parking lot across from the 109th Precinct. Wow, flushing has changed bigly.

Another Great Walk Tour, Tom...and you're right, Chinatown wasn't Always there ,in Flushing. I would say it started to get Big about 30 yrs ago. When I was a kid, my friends and I would take the Q58 Bus from Ridgewood to the last stop on Main Street. Then we'd walk to Shea Stadium (now CitiField) to see the Mets..There was No ChinaTown then....and not to be a PITA and keep correcting you on pronunciation of Street names lol (as I also did so on youre NY Chinatown tour) but Kissena Blvd is Kiss-EE-Na, not Kiss-en-a  😀

I appteciate you walking up and down streets it brings back menorys for me i was young staying in Flushing Queens i love it there for shopping its feel so good .im walking the streets again with you dear i like it to go up kissena Boulevatd thats where i was staying with boyfriend +family they are puerto Rican they was so good to me a white women ..it just feels so good to see the streets again thank you
