WHY STAY IN STINTINO?

Stintino is one of the most convenient places to stay when visiting La Pelosa Beach. The town offers restaurants, supermarkets, cafés, accommodation and boat excursions, while remaining close to several beaches.

La Pelosa is the most famous beach in the area, known for its shallow turquoise water, white sand and views of Torre della Pelosa. During the regulated summer season, access may require advance booking, so always check the official rules before visiting.

Stintino is also one of the main departure points for boat trips to Asinara National Park. Excursions may include swimming stops, coastal views and visits to different parts of the island. In July and August, booking in advance is strongly recommended.

WHERE TO STAY IN STINTINO

Choose the town centre if you want to be close to restaurants, shops and evening walks.

Stay near the tourist harbour for easy access to boat excursions and waterfront accommodation.

Choose the La Pelosa area if your priority is reaching the beach quickly, although restaurants and services are more concentrated in Stintino town.

GETTING AROUND STINTINO

The centre is small and can be explored on foot. A car or scooter is useful for reaching La Pelosa and the other beaches around the Stintino peninsula.

Small boats and inflatable boats can also be rented locally, while organised excursions depart from the harbour towards Asinara and the surrounding coastline.
