This is just a fairly easy knot to learn for tying a loop onto the end of your fly line. The knot requires no tools to tie and the only requirement is a pair of scissors or snips to cut off the tag ends. I also demonstrate a very quick and easy loop knot for your leader at the end.

Thank you russel from a complete noddy ( beginner) to fly fishing the fly line I have has no loop so have been stressing on how to attach a leader, thanks to this vid I now know fingers crossed I get a bite as I'm going in a weeks time 👍

One of the best demos on youtube. Only change would be use bigger over exaggerated line to be more visible.

Russell what a cracking way to attach your fly line used it yesterday landed 4 good pike it's fantastic for flying through the guides of your rod absolutely superb 10/10,
