Andrey Bezrukov and Elena Vavilova lived in America under the guise of a Canadian family for over 10 years. They carried out missions for Russian intelligence – to build a successful career in business and enter the upper echelons of American society. And they succeeded. But how did they see America from the inside? What is unique about the American national character? What is most difficult to get used to in this country? Is it true that money decides everything in the US?

In the project "America Through the Eyes of Illegals," Russian intelligence officers share their experiences of life in the US, as well as the pros and cons they discovered.
