What if Yoda's Full Potential Was During The Clone Wars Era? Let's explore the depths of it in this video.

Yoda watches from the balcony as Chancellor Palpatine finishes his speech to the newly commissioned clone army. As one, the gathered battalions all snap and salute to the leader of the Republic before turning to their ships and starting to board, preparing to deploy to the frontlines in the Outer Rim.

They march to the sounds of cheers across the city as this is broadcast across the holonet. It is meant to reassure the people that, though the CIS crisis has escalated, the Republic has an answer and will not bow to these new insurgents.

But Yoda feels anything but reassured.

If anything, he seems more confused and lost than ever. While the clones might serve as the backbone of the new Republic military, the Jedi were tasked with serving as its new generals. They will offer their skills and experience to the new clones, a task that many seem happy to accept.

Too happy, if Yoda were to be honest. It is the antithesis of everything the Jedi wishes to avoid, but here they are, shunning their role as peacekeepers to instead serve as generals in a new military.

As his speech finishes and all eyes shift to the clones, boarding their transports, he takes this time to wander off, walking on his cane and disappearing down the halls.

Yoda finds a quiet space, away from the press and curious Senators with more questions than he has answers. And there, the Jedi sits and closes his eyes, enjoying this increasingly rare moment of peace.

But as he begins to meditate, he feels a strong breeze. It brushes past him, but the feeling is not unpleasant. In fact, the air feels surprisingly warm, moving close as if trying to touch him, and when he feels it around his neck, Yoda finds that he is breathing more easily.

Qui-Gon: Greetings, Master.

His eyes shoot open and Yoda turns to find the late Qui-Gon Jin standing before him, or at least what should be Qui-Gon. He has the same smile, the same Jedi robes, but his body is see-through.

Yoda: Gone, you are.

Qui-Gon: Dead, Master Yoda. But not gone, never gone. This is what the Force has willed me into. I have come to see our troops off. The Jedi Order has changed since I left, it seems.

Yoda: Changed, yes. But not for the better, I think.

Qui-Gon: No, but it has changed. Or perhaps it is the galaxy that forced it to change around it. Tell me, what do you think of them?

Yoda: A dangerous game we are caught in, by this resurgent Sith. But making moves we are not, being moved around, the Jedi Order is.

Qui-Gon: What makes you so certain of that?

Yoda: It is the uncertainty that worries me, my friend. Expect me to have all the answers, the Jedi Order does. And yet, much the same I am to them. Never have I encountered a Sith, and never has one amassed such powers. Know more about them, you do, than I.

Qui-Gon: Knew enough to get myself killed. Chuckles. But the knowledge is not out of your reach, master.

Yoda: Teach me, you will?

Qui-Gon: Not like this and not here. Come to these coordinates, and you will learn everything.

His friend taps Yoda’s forehead, and he feels a vision wash over him. A vision of blinding light and power. It is of a garden, bathed in the golden light so warm that it cannot possibly just come from a star. Instead, it feels like a touch of the Force itself.

The sensation leaves him weak in the knees, and Yoda catches himself. When he looks around, Qui-Gon is gone, but the knowledge of this place fills Yoda’s mind.

He announces that while the war is ongoing, he will take time off to commune with the Force and try to find clarity regarding this conflict. Some of the Jedi aren't keen on losing their Grandmaster at such a crucial stage in the war. However, he argues that Yoda does not command troops and is less important in strategic planning, allowing Mace Windu to take over temporarily.

This is enough to satisfy most of them in the Jedi Order, and Yoda takes off in his starfighter, disappearing to areas unknown. Many expect him to go to some distant planet in the Outer Rim, but it is quite the opposite.

Instead, he travels deep into the core, right in the center of the galaxy, the Wellspring of Life.
