Yamamoto is truly one of the greatest playoff risers I have ever seen. He ended this postseason with a 1.45 ERA and a 0.78 WHIP and going 5-1 with two complete games and winning three games in the World Series. He will forever be a legend and even crazier he’ll be pitching for team Japan in March trying to win the WBC again with Ohtani.

Yama’s arm was so tired he couldn’t even lift his MVP trophy. What a dawg!

Yamamoto started the MLB season, Yamamoto ended the MLB Season. Insane.

Rojas is going to be a great manager in the not so distant future.

One last Miggy Ro comment: he saved Kershaw’s no-hitter, and he saved Kershaw’s final game last night.

This one was for Fernando, Sculley, Kershaw and the Vesias. Go Dodgers!

Let’s not forget Will Klein🫡

Never watched a more intense baseball game in my life

Yoshinobu Yamamoto is already one of the greatest post season pitchers of all time.

Definitely the greatest World Series I’ve ever been able to witness. Yamamoto is a cyborg.

As a born and raised LA guy I have to tip my cap to the Blue Jays and the fans in Toronto who were the best opponents and opposing fans you could get. A high class team with great fans supporting them and I truly wish it was like Houston or something so I could feel good about snatching the heart from their chest in the last moment while drinking up their tears instead of the great sympathy I feel for these guys for what a gut punch was just delivered to them. I'm still not sure I've fully taken in the fact that my team won this thing; I'd basically checked out when the game was 3-1 already and the people around me at Dave & Busters before I left in the 6th seemed to feel the same resignation I was. This was easily the most amazing playoff series of any sport that I've ever witnessed with a procession of ups and downs that put my blood pressure and my nerves through absolute hell. The baseball world was blessed this past week for what we all got to witness. Amazing.

As a dodger fan, I can say this was probably my favorite and one of the best talking baseball episodes of all time

Im not a fan of the LA Dodgers, but I've become of a huge fan of THIS Dodgers team. Absolute awesome cast of characters, what a series.

Fun fact. Prior to game 6, Dave Roberts texted miggy and said he wants him to start at 2nd in game 6. So after the lost in game 5 miggy stayed on the dugout until everybody gone left to clubhouse. He was last one to leave the dugout. He stayed and really took in all the WS energy knowing that he has a chance to make up the difference in game 6 and possibly game 7. And boy he did !
And here’s another fun fact, miggy wife told him that he will hit a homerun in either game 6 or 7. But miggy told her that he hasn’t even play since wild card. Guess what happen ? He hit a homerun. Crazy story. You can fact check these things.

I wish I wasn’t such big Blue Jay fan.. I am so heartbroken it’s hard to appreciate how amazing this series was.

this game started with 0-3 and ended up with 5-4 super crazyyyyyy

Everyone said we'd never see a Bumgarner style performance again and here we are less than 20 years later.  Someone always rises to the occasion.  It happened now and it will happen again.  Yamamoto was an absolute monster.

Don't forget Yamamoto was cleaning up the dugout too after he pitched😂

Yamamoto was incredible. I will never forget the 2025 postseason, what a ride!

Blue Jays fan here: Sad and disappointed with how it ended, but proud of this team.  Congrats to the Dodgers.. and Yamamoto has to be an AI machine or something. He almost singlehandedly won the series for the Dodgers - all his wins at Toronto too. hats off to him.
