First Fruits of Zion

As the church embraced a theology in which it supplanted Israel, it needed a way to interpret the numerous biblical prophecies about the end-times return of the Jewish people to the land of Israel. In today’s episode of FFOZ Reacts!, Jacob Fronczak responds to the idea that these prophecies should be universalized, and that the land of Israel represents the whole world. (Unfortunately, we cannot locate Ashkelon in North Dakota.) He also touches on the legitimacy of biblical interpretations not found in church history and confronts the idea that Zionism entails an imputation of total righteousness and divine infallibility on the nation of Israel. ‪@RichardDavidLatting‬
