10-BALL - Earl Strickland, at 54 years old, was a five-time U.S. Open 9-Ball champion as well as a former World 9-Ball champion. His opponent, Taiwan’s Kevin Cheng, at 27, was half the age of Strickland, yet earlier in 2015 Cheng won the U. S. Open 9-Ball Championship. Both talented professionals had an exciting match at the 2015 Make-It-Happen 10-Ball Invitational. Being a little tougher game than 9-Ball, let’s see how they fared at 10-Ball.
Danny DiLiberto and Bill Hendrixson manned the booth.

I'm just waiting for the game where before Earl shoots he yells out Go Go Gadget arm lol

@neilbobb5700 4 years ago

Technically speaking, Earl has been committing a foul each time he runs out and then touching the cue ball while it's still rolling from the last shot.

Announcer said Strickland is looking at comedy aimed at him, SO TRUE! That said, Earl is awsome!

Once I muted the comentators I was able to enjoy and analyze the shots a lot better

I agree that it’s unbelievable what these young players from Taipei know—and what they don’t know, Earl will teach them.
Thanks for these great matches folks!

Jesus...Earl's break is amazing. To judge a good break or not it's how much movement you get on the 10 ball. Hes getting damn near down table. So much power

Earl might not know this shot. WTF? Danny??

2015 was a difficult year to predict. A frustrating year depending on who one betted on or preferred. One thing for sure, it was exciting, no matter how it turned out. Depressing for some, exhilarating for others. Good pool enjoyment however is the bottom line. Seeing skill. That's what I celebrate.

I’d like to see Danny play. He sounds like he knows a lot about making shots but I haven’t seen him play. I think Danny could be the best player in the world.
