Game: Don’t go near the trees that bleed

Dr Sherman: I NEED TO KNOW IF THE TREES SCREAM

@Random_Goofster 1 year ago

Fun fact, there are ACTUAL trees that bleed! They're called Socotra Dragon Trees and their sap is red.

The trees using their roots to warn others of danger is half true. In fact, certain types of fungi connect two neighboring tree roots together, which, according to some sources, resemble neural networks in the brain. These networks can allow trees to "warn" other trees of danger, such as insects. This phenomenon is called the "wood wide web."

Dev here!

Thanks for playing! I'm glad you enjoyed the game and it's secrets

But of course, the greatest pleasure of them all is Matilda's downfall

41:23 "she was mean to us, right?" Words of a serial killer

@Lo5ercore 1 year ago

One of my favourite quotes to remember when analysing the actions or thoughts of a character in a horror game or series is "a character shouldn't be assumed to know what genre they're in" and I think BigGaming captures that idea perfectly, rationalising character's actions despite the fact from an outsiders perspective, we know they're in a horror game

@Mario_Anna69 1 year ago

This is honestly way better than those channels were the gamer just starts screaming and overreacting at everything that happens in the game
Thank you BigGaming

"WHY WON'T IT SCREAM?!"

@HaidaraSharaf 1 year ago

My guess was that maybe the white blood trees were humans and we just thought they were trees, so we cut them down because of their insane value, which turns out to be from black market buyers , and later we just face the consequences of our actions, plus, that line about looking like a "serial killer" is way too suspicious for me.

“OH GOD WHY IS IT BLEEDING”

28:53 are you sure? Imagine if you were in your car at night in the woods and an axe swung at your car, I think you would have the same reaction, I know I would

thinking of these bleeding trees, a Japanese yokai called a Jubokko comes to mind... theyre basically vampire trees. They feed on the blood of foolish humans who wander too close.
