IKEA bamboo boxes fit these sleeves great. They fit 80, but best to keep them around 60-65 to flick through. I’m currently at 500 sleeves so far.

I've been doing this for some time, as I have very limited space in my tiny flat. It's an extremely efficient use of space, but I did get rid of the cases and put them in the recycling, otherwise it would defeat the purpose of sleeving everything. I only have a limited number of items I display, while the rest that can't be sleeved, due to the packaging, are tucked away out of sight.

These are a live saver. I use the standard blu-ray/DVD sleeves, but slip the discs in the double felt CD sleeves inside for extra protection. I will take your discount code and stock up. Thanks

any true collector , like you say who dose not have a 5 bedroom house, will have to do this, ive done it with all my cd`s and dvd`s except my horror collection, coz that artwork needs to be on display.

I posted this on someone else's collection video, and I'll post it here also: why not ditch the background bookshelves and get a few "spinner" shelves, instead? You have to buy a better (metal) lazy susan thing, but one of those revolving towers can hold anywhere between 700 and 1,000 blu-rays. Plus, because they don't have as large of a room print, you could get two or three of those and still have space left over, compared to the book shelves.

Great video as always! These seem like a great option, especially since my collection is currently in complete chaos, like there is not a single bit of order to it, but I just prefer seeing the case, picking the case up and opening the case, I probably should invest in these, but I don't think I actually have anywhere to properly store them, like the best I could do I sit on a bookshelf which I feel would like weird as they would be sticking out, and I don't want that either

I have around 2600 titles in my living room on a mix of IKEA shelves. I still have space left, and have the option to expand a bit. I have been thinking for storage like Djois, and have bumped into them before because my sister uses them, but I think I would end up never watching what I have in sleeves.

Great vid here Kris, u will laugh at how I always did things, been collecting since my late teens I think😂😂, vhs, dvd, I got rid of the lot way back, only kept my sly, Arnie, van damme stuff then bluray came along and I upgraded everything.. vhs I threw all in a skip about 4 years ago, who knew I would b doing youtube stuff😂😂 gutted now..

so now I dont keep everything, only stuff which I enjoy, anything else is mostly gone, giveaways or charity, so I manage to keep my shelves fairly light, saying that they are filling up faster than I can lose them atm so will keep ur option in mind😂😂😂👍

Tbh…. They seem awful to me and the last place that I would want to store my disc; part of the love for me is the double box, the inside artwork, the promo leaflets etc. I tend to agree with you that they can be used for the movies you don’t care so much about but in that case maybe; same as you say 😅

In all seriousness though, are these similar to the sleeves LoveFilm used to put discs in, or are they like an upgrade to them? I know, im showing my age with LoveFilm haha

Never clean a disc with circular moves. Always start from the center to its outer rim in straight lines.

So I’m a rare breed I think who loves 4k slipcovers, but I don’t like how they look on the shelf as they are too uneven unless they are from a matching trilogy or similar. So j take the slipcovers off and have the bare ameray cases on the shelf and the slipcovers kept in a drawer. Oh man that took a long time to explain 😂 so, I was very excited to see your video to see if they offered a slipcover protector storage system. It looks like it’s a gap in their offering. Such a shame. Great video though,and wow taking all if your dvd and blu-rays and putting them in the sleeves. and alphabetizing them, must have taken forever!!!

Great video mate, really informative and great to see how these look.

As someone who loves to display their Physical Media this pains me. That said I completely understand why you’ve done this and I do think it’s a good idea, I’m not fully against it!

I think this offers great storage options and I love that you’re able to label the collection into sections I think that’s a great feature.

A problem that will arise, maybe not now but sometime soon is that your shelves will get full again, so what happens to what’s on display now? The likes of the 4Ks for example, they’ll need sleeping as well.

As a physical media collector and someone who doesn’t plan on stopping anytime soon I fear I’m going to end up in the same position. We recently spoke about how my space is very nearly at full capacity 🫣
