finally i am sharing my reaction to Taylor Swift’s Encore!⭐️❤️🔥
i think i had the best first experience listening to these 4 new songs because i was offline all weekend at my brother’s wedding so i had no outside opinions affecting my enjoyment of them hahah. i’ve seen SO much mixed emotions online but personally i LOVE these songs!! they are so fun and i feel like people just love to hate on Taylor’s happy silly songs 🥲
since i wasn’t able to react at home, i also included a more in-depth debrief and first analysis of the lyrics and such! of course i yapped far too long but i take great pride in defending my best friend Taylor for an hour LOL.

People don't know or don't remember why what happened in 2016 was so big, it's wasn't just Kim's video. Taylor released 1989 and received pretty much the same hate from self-proclamed Swifties and that in turn gave the haters fuel to treat Taylor horribly. She then went to have a massive tour with insane media exposure and finished it off by winning AOTY for the same album that people swore was her worst.
Haters were seething that their opinions of Taylor had absolutely no influence on her success. That's why when Kim released that video they finally had a "legitimate" excuse to bury Taylor.
I will never have any respect for people who said "I used to hate her" but liked folklore or "I was a fan but now I can't stand her" after Showgirl came out; those are the exact same type of people.
