Ride in a prototype of the @XPENG_Global L03 with VLA 2.0. With the incomparable Roger Atkins, as well as Matt and Stefan from XPENG. Includes street driving and self parking.
Only two manual takeovers: once to drive over the curb to let an emergency vehicle pass and once to pull over so that I could switch places with Roger. Otherwise, the car was driving itself. It was already impressive in China, but is learning the written and unwritten rules in Germany quickly. Noticeably learning every trip. It should be very impressive by the time the intelligent driving function officially launches in Europe early next year.
The European AWD L03 is also a comfortable ride but a little firmer than what some have described in China. While we were only able to ride in the beta test vehicle, I hope to get behind the wheel in the future.

I hope that negotiations between Xpeng and European regulators are going well so that it can be authorised as soon as possible in Europe 😁😁😁
As for snow or ice, China has cold region too which is perfect to train their model AI.
