Id go with grey PVC conduit pipe (schedule 40). It will hold up to the UV exposure, be more stout, and is also chemical & corrosion resistant . I cant tell if that is Quest or HDPE pipe. a 10 foot stick of 1 inch grey pvc is about 10-12 at home depot, 2 inch is about 24. It will also look more aesthetically pleasing as it has a darker grey and no colored stripes
