Fourth day of high school student mobilization this Thursday, October 8: Are the 2027 presidential candidates listening to the students' anger?

On Tuesday, October 6, high school and university student organizations claimed 450,000 demonstrators across France, including 100,000 in Paris. The Ministry of the Interior counted 266,000. Their demands: absent teachers not replaced, sometimes for the entire year, concerns about Parcoursup (the French university admissions platform), heavier class schedules since the baccalaureate reform, buildings unsuitable for high temperatures, and a shortage of teaching assistants and school nurses.

Maud Benakcha discusses this with Cécile Bourgneuf, education journalist for the Society section of Libération, and Jonathan Bouchet-Petersen, political columnist.

At the end of the program, Etienne Baldit, journalist for the Chez Pol newsletter, adds his thoughts.
