For the hoodie with the crochet on the bottom and wanting to add yarn elsewhere, my first thought was adding a few rows of crochet to the edge of the hood of it. Loving the upcycle projects!!

If you're planning on doing more crochet onto the edge of fabrics, I would highly reccommend looking into the embroidery blanket stitch for the attatching stitches. I did that to attach quilt pieces to make a blanket for my grandma this past christmas.
Also if you use a lighter weight yarn that might help with the general drape/fall/bulkiness of the sweater? If the sweater fabric is a pretty loose weave you could maybe use the yarn to embroider some very simple flowers around the sleeve cuffs?
If you're having trouble with getting color to show up nicely on fabric, you could try a layer of plain white paint first and then do the color over that.
Fuzzy green yarn as moss is SO COOL, i did that on a bag for my niece. You can just crochet it into a patch of random size/shape and then sew that down and it looks soooo cool. And if you have any little mushroom or even cute bug buttons you could sew that onto to moss patches!
Maybe crochet little ears for the hood with the brown fuzzy yarn? Like little bear ears coming out the hood.
Oooohh and check out how to embroider flowers into/around buttons! They're soo cute and would look amazing with the giant buttons.

Loved these upcycles! I went through my bleaching shirts era back in 2016 and I will share a tip I learned the hard way. Make sure you run your hoodie through a cycle with vinegar to neutralize the bleach. Otherwise it will eventually eat through the fabric and make holes. 😊 Can’t wait to see your finished makes!!

Something I’ve always wanted to do, is to cover something in gemstones, or at least partially cover, but gemstones are pretty much known for always falling off, so I’ve never actually done it❤️💎

The pink yarn for the pink dress matches so well!

For the mushroom hoodie before you cut the sleeves off, crochet the new sleeves like you did the bottom of the other hoodie, then if you prefer the standard sleeves you can just frog it and keep them classic or add more mushrooms/vine based stuff

Hi Holly! I fabric dye quite a bit, as a small tip I would suggest using a much larger bucket! I use a orange home depot bucket for my projects and it gives plenty of room for the clothing and to stir it :)

With the pink dress, i love the idea of contrasting colors, like the green from whatever you had on with it under it.  I love everything, looking amazing!  Great idea!

add some yarn to the hood make it a bit witchy!  omg a fuzzy slip stitch or sc around the moon hoodie would be SOO cute maybe do like it to kinda look like lichen?  on the pocket too the green would look so cute like very mossy. and lastly i am LIVING! for the pink dress.  it is SOOO cute and gives massive lizzy mcguire / middle school diary vibes from early 2000s vibes and im here for it.  i like the pink yarn i would actually just add it to the bottom maybe give it ruffles?  tho to do that youll need more yarn because you need a lot of yarn for ruffles.  so far im loving the projects!

I think it could be really cute to sew the buttons before gluing them to the pre existing ones to make them look sewn on like the others! Overall I love how the're coming out & it's inspiring me to upsycle my clothes

I began making some of my own clothes last year, fell in love with making skirts and dresses. I agree with something you said, I was struggling to find clothes that made me feel like me. I decided that if I can’t find it in the store, I will try making it. I found bedding at the thrift store was a great start getting fabric for cheap to learn with.
